We're lucky to already have a home full of everything we need, so please enjoy browsing this wish list, where you can contribute to our dream honeymoon in South Africa! We plan to spend a week exploring all that the beautiful city of Cape Town has to offer - whale watching, penguin colonies, wine country, Table Mountain, a spectacular night life, and relaxing beaches. Then we'll travel to Kruger National Park for a week of safari, checking all of the "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) off our bucket list.

We have set up a secure bank-to-bank money transfer for everything on this registry, but feel free to send cash or checks at your preference. Thanks for visiting and we can't wait to see you on our big day!

This is Africa's wine country, after all, and Cape Town is host to a rich jazz scene and the hip bars of Long Street. We'll knock back a few "Karate Waters" in your honor - a local concoction of brandy and coke.

Cape Town lies at the base of Table Mountain and the views at the top are phenomenal! You can see the city, surrounding national park, and views of the sea. Once at the top we'll have the option to hike around, rappel down, or take another cable car trip.

This tour will allow us to explore the Cape of Good Hope and see the point where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet. It also includes a tour of Simon's Town and Boulder's Beach, which boasts a colony of African penguins! The tour finishes at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens - a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Walk a Museum Mile

The pedestrian strip of Government Avenue provides access to the National Gallery, Houses of Parliament, the Iziko Museum, the Iziko Planetarium, and the Iziko Slave Lodge. We'll also visit the District Six Museum and check out Nelson Mandela's cell on Robben Island.

Kruger National Park is one of Africa’s largest game reserves. Its high density of wild animals includes the Big 5: lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. Mountains, bush plains and tropical forests are all part of the landscape. We'll be staying in rest camps in private bungalows so we can truly experience living in the bush.
