On our romantic escape we will discover the highlights of our honeymoon destination with your generous wedding gift. Expedia offers an array of tours, activities and excursions. We'll come face to face with Hawaii's most famous waterfall - Manawaiopuna Falls - on Kauai. This elite helicopter tour will take us to a privately-owned valley, home to Manawaiopuna Falls (better known as "Jurassic Falls"). Our pilot will land the helicopter near the base of the waterfall, shut the aircraft down and personally escort us over a small footbridge and along a jungle pathway to the front of this nearly 400-foot (122-meter) waterfall. Once at the waterfall, we will have the opportunity to feel the mist on your face, take awesome pictures or just enjoy the power and beauty of this magnificent waterfall while our knowledgeable pilot talks about the flora, fauna and geological attributes of this area.

We'll watch as the evening dims and then relights with poi ball twirlers and fire knife dancers. A lavish buffet will await us in an evening that captures the gambit - from the quiet intimacy to the stunning display of sight and sounds. Nestled in a 35-acre (14-ha) manicured pasture, Gaylord's Restaurant Kilohana sits at the end of a winding driveway. When we enter we will see the paintings of Ethel and Gaylord Parke Wilcox that line the walls. The luau celebrates the triumphs and struggles of the Hawaiian people - culminating in word, music and the hypnotic light trails of a fire dance.

The Bike Downhill Canyon to Coast is an exhilarating bike ride from the rim of the famed Waimea Canyon (el. 3500') down 13 miles of smooth winding blacktop all of the way to the shore of the blue Pacific. We will enjoy the beautiful early morning light over Waimea Canyon, which is just spectacular! We won't be snoozing, we will be cruising! We will be served steaming Kauai Coffee and fresh blueberry muffins as we ride up in a van. If we decide to take the afternoon tour, we will see the sun dip low over Ni'ihau, the Forbidden Island. We will be served cold soft drinks, spring water and Kauai cookies. Comfortable helmets and operating procedures make for a ride that's safe and controlled, yet still invigorating. We will be riding through one of the most beautiful and interesting places on the planet, so of course, we will stop along the way for photos and narrative on history, culture, folklore, and legends. We will get hands-on and identify native plants, trees and birds. As well as having an enjoyable ride in a beautiful place, we will learn about what makes Kauai so special!

On our Hawaiian honeymoon, we will enjoy many evenings dining on native food prepared using traditional cooking methods! With island blends of cross-cultural innovations and enticing spices, we will savor the fresh flavors of paradise!

We will browse the boutique store and pick up a few local handicrafts and souvenirs as mementoes from our honeymoon.

Any help to get to and from our destination is a wonderful gift. We will be thanking you long after take off.
