Kite Beach is located two kilometers west of Cabarete. A sight to behold on windy days, when scores of kiters of all skill levels negotiate huge sails and 30m lines amid the waves and traffic. Constanza is a 3 hour car ride from the Resort, but there are so many amazing things to see! We want to go to the Reservo Cientifica Ebano Verde where we can hike through a nature reserve to a waterfall with a swimming hole, visit the Aguas Blancas waterfall, and see the hundreds of historical petroglyphs and pictograms in the Piedras Letradas caves.

So picturesque are the falls that an opening scene of the movie Jurassic Park was filmed here. Of the three waterfalls near Jarabacoa, it’s definitely the prettiest – a 60m cascade pouring from a gaping hole in an otherwise solid rock cliff. There’s a sandy beach and an appealing swimming hole.

We plan on taking a day-long trip away from the resort to check out the main beach and tourist area in Sosúa! Help us get there by paying for a cab ride, or contribute towards a day of snorkeling, shopping, the Playero Supermarket and beachfront dining in Playa Sosúa and Playa Alicia.

A cable car takes visitors to the top of the enormous flat-topped Pico Isabel de Torres. On clear days there are spectacular views of the city and coastline. The botanical gardens at the top are good for an hour’s stroll. You'll also find a large statue of Christ the Redeemer (similar to its counterpart in Rio de Janeiro).

Enjoy a morning adventure on this combination zipline and horseback-riding tour in Puerto Plata! Get a unique perspective of the Puerto Plata jungle as you glide through the treetops on a zipline.
