We will be going on a guided kayak tour to explore the rocky caverns and archways and truly experience the natural beauty of the Marietas Islands.

Las Caletas was once the private home of film director John Huston who considered it one of the most beautiful places in the world. Nestled in a secluded nature preserve on the southern shores of Banderas Bay, Las Caletas is now Vallarta Adventures' own exclusive tropical beach hideaway. We will climb aboard a first-class catamaran and sit back and marvel at the most fantastic scenery the Mexican Pacific has to offer. Once we reach Las Caletas, we will relax on the beach in a hammock and soak in the beautiful views. We will also have access to snorkeling, paddleboarding, a guided walk through the jungle, and even a cooking class to learn to cook Paella.

We'll head north to the famous Marieta Islands, home to many species of marine birds, dolphins and manatees. Our afternoon will be spent on the tranquil beach of Majahuitas, a desert island beach, with swaying palms, white sands, a sheltered cove, crystal clear waters and a gentle surf ideal for snorkeling, swimming and kayaking. A day of fun in the sun!

We'll revel in the excitement of maybe landing the big catch of the day, and enjoy first class service from the experienced crew on our great day of sport fishing. Then it's back to the hotel for the coldest beverage in town.

Our adventure begins with a scenic ocean cruise across Banderas Bay to the isolated cove of Las Caletas. As the sun sinks into the Pacific Ocean and darkness descends, we will enjoy a privileged view of the shimmering lights scattered along the coastline. As the lights diminish, our journey continues beneath the stars - until a flicker of torches guide us to the secluded haven of Las Caletas. We will then enjoy dinner at our private beachside table under the stars. After dinner and dessert, we will enjoy ther Rhythms of the Night performance: stories of an ancient civilization being told through live music and modern dance as one of Mexico's most innovative contemporary dance troupes transports us on a magical and mystical journey through time. After the show, we will end our perfect evening with dancing beneath the stars and relaxing on the cruise back.

What a romantic evening as the ship drifts out to sea for a night under a blanket of stars. We will enjoy a spectacular dinner captivated by a picture perfect sunset.
