We will start off with a crisp start in the morning, stopping for breakfast in the city of Cervantes where we will admire the antiques collected for many years. The real tour starts at Angostura, hydroelectric plant biking through sugar and coffee plantations, where the route is flat with mountain segments of dense jungle and up hill slopes. Continuing to La Posa where we will have the opportunity to dive in its crystal clear waters and enjoy its panoramic views, while enjoying a lovely lunch and the natural beauty surrounding us!

On our all-day tour we will be setting out to the open sea, having the chance to visit a burial grounds of the Pre-Columbian tribes, snorkel or scuba dive at a world-renowned diving hot spot. We will see many magnificent corals of a thousand colors, brilliantly colored fish and maybe even some friendly and fun-loving dolphins!

For those who are looking for a physically demanding hike, Cerro Chato Volcano, which has had no volcanic activity for the past 3,500 years, is the perfect choice. One can appreciate the changes from rainforest to cloud forest while climbing the peak, measuring approximately 3,700 ft. We will begin the tour in Fortuna and ride in a minibus around Volcano Arenal to the Hotel Observatory Lodge. A guide will accompany us during your hike and will teach us about the geological history as well as the surrounding nature that inhabits Volcano Arenal’s older brother. We will start the steep hike to the summit of Cerro Chato crossing a very compact, primary rainforest on our way. After another short climb, we will begin our descent. This will give us a beautiful view of Arenal and the valley of San Carlos. As we pass through through the rainforest, we'll hopefully see various birds and other wild animals (though viewing the enormous size plants alone make this tour worthwhile).

After a delicious breakfast, we will start our day with a stroll along the Rio Celeste River arriving at Tenorio Volcano National Park, where we'll hike through a tropical rainforest arriving at "Los Tenideros" of the Rio Celeste, a place where two streams of water come together and form one heavenly color of crystal blue. Hiking back, we will stop and take a mud bath in the healing mud, and take a luxurious soak in the natural hot springs while observing Tenorio Volcano, continuing through the jungle and our final reward, an exquisite lunch for our hunger! We are excited to go kayaking to Manzanillo arriving on the pristine Manzanillo Beach where we will start our underwater expedition. Swimming over beautiful corals, through caverns where an enchanted underwater garden awaits us with its precious treasures, brain coral, fire coral, turtle grass, parrot fish, angel fish, blue tangs and many more! Stand in the misty shadow of La Fortuna waterfall, take a dip in its refreshing pool, and look for wildlife with an experienced local guide. Head to the La Fortuna Waterfall to explore verdant rainforests on an active trek and enjoy convenient transportation to and from the trailhead. Meet up with your guide outside your hotel and grab a window seat for the quick ride to your trail's starting point. Cinch up your laces when you arrive and then tackle a steep climb down to the thundering waters of La Fortuna Waterfall. Spend some time admiring the cascades as they tumble more than 230 feet (70 m) to an emerald green pool below. Change into your swimsuit to go for a brisk swim, snap photos of the rainforest landscapes, or scope out wildlife including bright toucans, fluttering butterflies, and leisurely sloths. Fill up with bites of freshly picked fruit and bottled water before you make the climb back to your waiting transportation, and then return to your hotel in the afternoon.

We'll let an experienced guide take us on a hike through Manuel Antonio National Park so we don't get lost! Visiting two pristine, sun-kissed white-sand beaches, Espadilla Sur and Manuel Antonio learning about local plant life, pointing out some of the subsiding fauna such as capuchin, squirrel monkeys, agouti and the three-toed sloth along with 184 species of birds. A honeymoon adventure we will always remember!

We will soon be enjoying a splendid morning of kayaking on Lake Arenal with magnificent views of the Arenal Volcano. Witnessing all the different species of birds like the flycatcher, kingfisher, the great blue heron and anninga with the sounds of howler monkeys in the background! One truly amazing honeymoon experience!

On this awesome underground adventure, our knowledgeable guide will take us through narrow passages, labyrinths and chambers where we'll see a famous rock formation called, "La Papaya" along with other amazing stalactites and stalagmites. This tour is only for those who like to get wet, muddy and messy just as we do!

Your tour begins with a 30-minute 4x4 drive into the tropical rain forest outside the town of La Fortuna, in the shadow of the Arenal Volcano. We trek through the forest on magical trails that lead to some of the most spectacular waterfalls in Costa Rica, a place very few people get to experience. Along the way we will have the chance to discover the secrets that lie hidden deep within the canyon. From the first waterfall we will rappel down from the top into the beautiful and pristine canyon below. The adventure includes several rappels, three of which are along waterfalls, and one dry rock face. Then it is just a short trek out of the canyon where we jump into the vehicles and head back to the base camp. This includes 5 rappels next to beautiful waterfalls.
