With your lovely wedding gift, we’ll have the opportunity to visit the Capital Museum and Hutong! At the Capital Museum we’ll learn about the rich history and culture of Beijing while admiring marvelous collections of historic objects of jade, bronzed statues and more. After lunch a traditional tea ceremony, we’ll stroll through the fragrant lush gardens at Prince Gong’s mansion then make our way through to the ancient hutongs!

We have a sense of adventure too! With your lovely wedding gift, we’ll explore Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City, also known as the Imperial Palace Museum, promising us spectacular art and beauty. After a delightful honeymoon lunch, we’ll tour the Temple of Heaven admiring its beautiful architecture dating back to the Ming and Qing Dynasties and visit the impressive Summer Palace. Here, we’ll stroll in the fragrant lush gardens that surround the palace, explore the grounds and its temples and relish the works of art in the world’s largest art galleries!

We can’t wait to explore the Guilin’s natural beauty and historic art on our honeymoon in China! At Fubo Hill, we’ll admire intricate carvings and elegant stone Buddhas before moving onto the Reed Flute Caves to see its impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations. After stopping at a local pearl market for rest and refreshments, we’ll our way to Elephant Hill. Here we’ll marvel at its shape, resembling an elephant drinking water through its trunk, and climb up the hill for the most picturesque view of the city and its beautiful surroundings!

About 2 hours outside of Xi'an is a cluster of five peaks with breathtaking cliff faces and very challenging hikes. We may choose to take the cable car instead of the "Death Plank" hike, where you have to be harnessed in a mile above ground! Scary!

On our romantic honeymoon in China we’ll explore Shaanxi History Museum! The museum offers us a cultural and historical overview of the province while we relive the rise of the city’s greatness as guardian of the wealth that came from Silk Road. After our tour of the museum, we’ll make our way to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and visit the home of the Great Mosque built in traditional Chinese style!

What better way to enhance our dining experience than with a bottle of wine! Historians say the Chinese have been fermenting grapes to make alcohol since around 7000BC!

Baijiu is known as the "Chinese vodka" and we're sure we'll sample some local cocktails!

Breakfasts or lunches around China will be exciting to try! Scallion pancakes, pork buns, and jian bing (egg-filled chinese crepes) all sound interesting!

We're excited about trying all the Chinese cuisine! Peking duck is a famous local dish that sounds wonderful to try!

Rice noodles and local river fish are the staples for locals in Guilin. Sounds good to us!

Xi'an is known for it's amazing dumplings and noodle dishes, which we look forward to tasting!

We'll fly from Beijing to Xi'an to more easily cross the span four provinces.

Sounds fun to travel via train to be able to experience the beauty between the Shaanxi and Guangxi regions!
