Accompanied by The Culinary Center Chef, we'll stroll through a traditional open-air food market in the Old Quarter of Cadiz, Spain. We'll savor a variety of flavorful Andalusian tapas at a popular restaurant in the heart of Cadiz. In the bustling Mercado de Abastos, we'll see firsthand the bounty of seafood and produce that arrives in Cadiz on a daily basis. We'll continue to El Faro, a restaurant known for its traditional cuisine, especially Andalusian tapas. While the menu of these small-plate specialties varies according to what's freshest, we may be served marinated anchovies, fried shrimp omelet's, leeks topped with cheese, and dried-cured ham on apple compote, accompanied by a glass of wine or sherry. The exploration of the market and tapas lunch will crystalize our memory of this enchanting port and the impact it had on the modern culinary world.

The Alhambra is Granada’s – and Europe’s – love letter to Moorish culture, a place where fountains trickle, leaves rustle, and ancient spirits seem to mysteriously linger. Part palace, part fort, part World Heritage site, part lesson in medieval architecture, the Alhambra has long enchanted a never-ending line of expectant visitors. As a historic monument, it is unlikely it will ever be surpassed.

Our first night out on the town!

Perched high atop Deck 12, La Reserve by Wine Spectator is decorated in a sophisticated decor to provide the ideal venue for wine tastings and gourmet dinners. This experience consists of a seven-course gourmet dinner with seven different wine flights.

We'll enjoy a 3-hour guided gourmet tapas tour in the magnificent city of Cartagena, where we'll be able to taste typical products of the Mediterranean Sea and Murcia. We can't wait to experience the Spanish cuisine on a whole other level!

We will be spending the night in Lisbon before we board our exciting cruise!
