We will admire the incredible sights and sounds of the Caribbean on our honeymoon. Island Routes offers an array of tours and activities that showcase the culture, beauty and natural resources of the Caribbean. With your generous contribution, we will embark on exciting excursions and experience the adventurous side of paradise!

Let's get dirty! We can't wait to go off roading on our ATVs as we explore St. Lucia up close and personal. We'll view the coastline and ride through the hills and plantations.

The majestic peak of Gros Piton, along with its twin peak Petit Piton, dominates the western coast of St Lucia. We will head up the misty mountainside with a guide through the jungle and view St. Lucia from the top. Afterwards we'll stop for a local lunch and go for a refreshing swim in the Caribbean Sea.

We'll revel in the excitement of maybe landing the big catch of the day, and book our boat now to enjoy first class service from the experienced crew on our great day of sport fishing. Then it's back to the resort for the coldest beverage in town.

We will step aboard and experience the magical splendor of a unique Dolphin and Whale Watching Experience. We will travel two miles out to the 3,000 feet deep ledge and follow this route down the west coast to Soufriere where the most spectacular sightings have occurred, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. On the trek back, we will motor to the breathtaking Marigot Bay for a photo op before returning to the cove.

There is nothing like a relaxing horseback ride taking in the beautiful scenery of our surroundings.

We'll experience the thrill of scuba with the ease of snorkeling on an Island Routes snuba adventure. Now we will relax and enjoy the fun of breathing underwater without the heavy equipment. We'll swim as deep as 20 feet in the seas "life-zone" for an up-close look at the diverse and colorful sea life in Saint Lucia's crystal clear waters.

Our guided historical tour begins on land through banana plantations, Marigot Bay and the fishing village of Anse La Raye. On arrival to Soufriere, we will take in the spectacular view of the majestic Pitons. Next, a stop at the Sulphur Springs will take us through the lush Botanical Gardens and on to the picturesque Diamond Waterfall. We will indulge in a scrumptious local lunch and then it will be time for us to head out to sea on a catamaran for snorkeling and a stop at Marigot Bay - where the films Dr. Doolittle and Superman II were filmed - for a one-of-a-kind photo op.

We are shopping enthusiasts and are we are well aware that it truly pays to be in-the-know about where the best spots are for grabbing bargains and finding hidden treasures. That's why, for us real shopping lovers, this tour is an absolute must. We'll visit the duty-free areas of Pointe Seraphine and the Craft Market, where we're free to haggle with the local vendors and discover the very best that Saint Lucia has to offer. We'll be certain to find that perfect souvenir to take back as a treat for friends or as a priceless memento of our vacation.

We'll have a memorable vacation moment as we sail off into the sunset on this cruise that features stunning views of the Pitons and Saint Lucia's breathtaking seashore. Delectable appetizers are served and we will have a range of exotic cocktails to choose from while standing on deck to take in the Caribbean vibes or dancing near the DJ booth to the tropical tempos…whatever our hearts desire.

We're in for a treat with a relaxing catamaran day cruise down the West Coast to Soufriere. We'll enjoy the rugged beauty of the coastline and the breathtaking awe of the majestic Piton Mountains. In Soufriere, we'll be amazed by the Sulphur Springs "drive-in-volcano", as well as the splendid Diamond Waterfall. After a soothing walk through the tropical Botanical Gardens, we'll dine at a local restaurant then cruise to Anse Cochon for some snorkeling. We'll finish off the day with a stop at Marigot Bay and take in the breathtaking view for a truly priceless photo op.

Our journey takes us first to the expansive Roseau Valley once cultivated for sugar cane but now Saint Lucia's largest banana plantation, and then to the restored Sugar Mill at La Sikwi in the quaint fishing village of Anse la Raye. We'll visit a museum and learn the history of sugar in the West Indies. Then it's time to sample an array of locally produced rums and liquors at a distillery. On our return trip we will stop at the picturesque Marigot Bay for a once in a lifetime photo opportunity.

Soufriere, the old capital of Saint Lucia is also home to the famous Sulphur Springs. Here we will visit an actual active volcano. We'll also get to see the fishing villages of Anse La Raye and Canaries. There will be many photo opportunities we will be excited to share!

We'll cycle through the forest and learn about local crops on an adventure filled mountain bike ride to Errard Waterfall where we can swim in its refreshing waters.

Experience the island's incredible beauty up close and personal, as you maneuver your personal one seater all-terrain vehicle through working plantations, historical sites and rural communities that take you back in time. Your journey takes you to the Marquis estate which was established back in 1723 and was one of Saint Lucia’s largest banana plantations. You’ll learn how the plantation was run as well as interesting facts about the banana plant itself. Along the route you’ll also see relics of the past such as a water wheel, an old locomotive and ruins of a sugar mill and slave quarters. Next enjoy the most spectacular panoramic views at Debarra’s view point of the Atlantic coast and Grande Anse beach as you begin your return to base. So go off-road, get dirty and revel in an adventure you'll never forget.

Visiting tourists join local patrons every Saturday night in the village of Dennery located on the east coast, south of Castries,to enjoy a St. Lucian seafood extravaganza. Tables and benches are set out allowing you to make your choice for dinner among the freshly cooked meals and tasty cocktails. Note: Meals are available for purchase; however, tour does not include dinner.
