The Valley of the Eagles Golf Links is one of the most scenic golf courses in the world, located directly along the banks of the Chilkat River with amazing views of the Cathedral Peaks, Chilkat Mountains, and Lynn Canal. Your adventure begins with a short interpretive drive through historic Haines. At the golf course, you will be provided with clubs, pull-cart, balls, and overboots (if needed). The next 2½ hours will be spent enjoying the professionally designed nine-hole course. This is a great family experience and kids are welcome. A fun and interesting course layout meanders through the beautiful and wild Alaska landscape. Beautiful blue glaciers and breathtaking waterfalls combine with the riverfront setting for an incredible visual experience. Abundant wildlife complements the scenery with frequent sightings of spawning salmon, bald eagles, moose, waterfowl, mink, otters, wolves, and songbirds. The course was ecologically designed to enhance the salmon streams, and maintain the wetlands and vegetation that are native to the area. At the end of the game you will be served a tasty snack with time to enjoy the views.
