This thrilling four-wheel-drive journey will take us where breathtaking landscapes and traditional culture are just waiting to be discovered! We will experience the spectacular scenery, lives of rural Costa Ricans that have barely changed over the years, secluded soft silver-sand beaches, exotic flora and fauna and many quaint little villages. Sounds like honeymoon fun!

The Arenal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas. From our observation point, we will feel the ground tremble and see the night sky explode with ash and lava in a natural display of fireworks. We will visit the hot springs of Arenal, where we will relax in the soothing waters and be caressed by the cool night air while observing the stars and the incredible night sky above the volcano. This is absolutely an evening we will not want to miss.

From the Bijagual Waterfalls we will plummet from cliffs deep within the lush jungle, climbing a small mountain range in the Carara National Park. On our adventure, we will witness breathtaking beauty of the Pacific Ocean and quaint fishing villages along the way, continuing on horseback through a jungle trail leading us to the waterfalls with its natural beauty, such as lush vegetation, toucans and red macaws. We will experience the pleasure of plunging in the pristine pools at the base of the waterfalls!

We can't wait to experience true paradise as we fly by white sand beaches on our biking tour. Along the way, we will make many stops at Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Reserve where we will get to observe a variety of birds, monkeys and coatis. On our way to an authentic Caribbean village, where we will take a cool swim in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, we will stop for a cold refreshing beverage to quench our thirst!

With your wedding gift, we will experience the diversity of abundant marine life, magnificent colorful corals and the reef beyond! We will truly know where paradise subsides!

Our adventure starts with a hike along the coast, making our way into the tropical forest to a streaming waterfall on the Rio Claro where we will ride down the river on inner tubes to a pristine beach to soak up some sun and take a nice refreshing dip, snorkel and enjoy a romantic picnic lunch! The grand finale, a well-deserved afternoon boat ride to complete our honeymoon outing!

We'll get an early start on this tour heading to the Arenal Dam where a motorboat takes us to Arenal Lake and to El Castillo where our horses will be ready for us! Our horses will lead us across rivers, grasslands and lush forests while we climb hills until we reach the Monteverde Cloud Forest and the nearby Children's Rainforest Reserve! One unforgettable honeymoon memory!

We'll have a drink or two on you at the local bar or at our favorite saloon. Cheers!

We are excited to go kayaking to Manzanillo arriving on the pristine Manzanillo Beach where we will start our underwater expedition. Swimming over beautiful corals, through caverns where an enchanted underwater garden awaits us with its precious treasures, brain coral, fire coral, turtle grass, parrot fish, angel fish, blue tangs and many more! Thanks to you!

We will take advantage of the beautiful ocean after a short drive to a secluded silver sand beach where we will kayak along the coastline, watching exotic birds. Landing on a deserted beach, we will have the opportunity to snorkel, exploring the reefs and tropical and brilliantly colored fish. We can't wait!

What could be more romantic and relaxing than sailing through the turquoise Caribbean waters on an elegant yacht? We will enjoy the beautiful landscape together on our honeymoon sail.

What a romantic evening as the ship drifts out to sea for a night under a blanket of stars. We will make sure we reserve a table now to enjoy a spectacular dinner captivated by a picture perfect sunset.

Floating down the Penas Blancas River, we will discover true peacefulness as we observe monkeys, sloth, iguanas, turtles, crocodiles and many species of birds. Rowing quietly and gently down the river will enable us to take photos, enjoying the sounds of nature, sipping on a drink and indulging on the local tropical fruits and not even disturbing the animals!

Shooting lots of photos from the jeep we'll live the Masai Mara, home to the wildebeest migration - the greatest wildlife show on earth!

We look forward to scuba diving in this world-renowned diving location. The water is crystal clear and warm. The marine life is abundant with magnificent corals and the sea crustaceans of a thousand colors will amaze us. This will be a honeymoon day we'll always remember!

Starting out from Uvita Beach, we will sail to Marina Ballena Island where we will discover an underwater world like no other as we snorkel among the magnificent corals, sea turtles, lobsters many brilliantly colored reef fish with high hopes in spotting fun-loving dolphins and swimming with them, and maybe even humpback whales!

We can't wait to take a leisurely cruise down Arenal Lake with the amazing view of Arenal Volcano, the sunset as our beautiful backdrop adding to our romantic ambience and the magnificent wildlife, such as flycatchers, kingfishers, anninga, monkeys, coatis and sloth. The perfect way to explore the natural beauty of Costa Rica on our honeymoon!

We will appreciate refreshing ocean waters while learning the ancient skill and art of surfing. Our experienced Instructors are excellent teachers and are committed to perpetuating the heritage of surfing. Surfs up!

We will soon be enjoying a splendid morning of kayaking on Lake Arenal with magnificent views of the Arenal Volcano. Witnessing all the different species of birds like the flycatcher, kingfisher, the great blue heron and anninga with the sounds of howler monkeys in the background! One truly amazing honeymoon experience!

On this awesome underground adventure, our knowledgeable guide will take us through narrow passages, labyrinths and chambers where we'll see a famous rock formation called, "La Papaya" along with other amazing stalactites and stalagmites. We'll learn to cook true Caribbean style on the beach. Not only will we learn the secrets from a local chef, we get to feast on our creation for lunch.

With a spectacular view of the ocean, we will join the locals and feast on comida tipica (native dishes), fresh fish, and succulent steaks complemented by gallo pinto, the national dish of fried rice and black beans.

A table will be reserved for us at our favorite restaurant. We can choose from fresh fruits, freshly baked pastries, breakfast meats, scrambled eggs, French toast, hash browns, juice and coffee. Give us the works we need our energy on our getaway.

We will start with our favorite delicacies at the sushi bar in our chosen Japanese restaurant. Then, enjoy the authentic Japanese dining room, where award-winning chefs skillfully twirl their knives through the air during the teppanyaki cooking show. We may even try a glass or two of hot sake.

We step through a canvas revolving door into the fascinating world of the Middle East. Fez-wearing waiters, Lebanese music and decor, and an assortment of unusual dishes make this an intriguing place for us to try. Not the norm for Costa Rica.

We’ll love a night just to ourselves! Indulging in the romantic ambiance, we’ll enjoy tantalizing cuisine at our favorite restaurant and make a toast to our lives together!

At our favorite Steak House, we'll reserve a table so we can tantalize our tastebuds! We'll choose from an array of prime aged steaks, chops, bone-In New York, filet mignon, double pork chops and racks of lamb. All choices are grilled the classic way juicy, tender, with the flavors developed fully. This is a sanctuary for us steak aficionados. Our mouths are watering just thinking about it.

With so many ice cream parlors in town, we'll try everything from hot fudge sundaes to soft serve ice cream and thick milkshakes. Who cares about the diet on our fantastic getaway!

We would love to shop around for our favorite piece of art as a cherished keepsake from our once in a lifetime trip. This gift will adorn our home for many years to come!

We will browse the boutique store and pick up a few local handicrafts and souvenirs as mementoes from our honeymoon.

We would love to take home some of the spa products. The scent will bring back fond memories of our honeymoon! We may even enjoy some massages on our own when we get back...
