Bicycling is the ultimate excursion for our honeymoon! We will rent bicycles and gear and ride out into the beautiful countryside and around Lake Wakatipu, taking in the remarkable scenery around us along the way.

With your generous wedding gift, we will experience Queenstown with its wide range of activities. We will choose from a variety of tours that allow us to embark on exciting adventures while seeing the highlights of some of New Zealand’s most well known sites while learning about the history and culture.

What a great way for us to discover the vibrant city of Auckland. On the Explorer Bus we can just hop-on or hop-off any of the fleet of double decker buses as they tour past all the sites and attractions.

We will fly around the Sky Tower, buzz the Viaduct Harbor, and zoom 1,000 feet above the Harbor Bridge. View greater Auckland's beaches and explore various volcanic cones that stand out as strong landscape features. We'll see the islands of the Hauraki Gulf on this extensive scenic flight highlighting Auckland - 'City of Sails'. A honeymoon experience we will never forget!

Our honeymoon in New Zealand would not be complete without a visit to the Kiwi and Birdlife Park. Here, we’ll discover New Zealand’s unique flora and fauna in a native bush-park setting home to the Kiwi, and the Tuatara one of New Zealand’s rarest birds.

This unique tour in a 4WD beyond the end of the road and deep into the film locations in the upper Rangitata Valley of South Canterbury. We will View Mt Sunday where 'Edoras' was built, the valley where 'Helms Deep' appears, the 'Misty Mountains' and the hills where 'Aragorn' rode his horse. We'll see it all!

In just 35 minutes of cruising from Auckland we are on Waiheke Island. Where we'll enjoy beautiful sandy beaches, native bush, vineyards, olive groves and laid back seaside villages on our personal honeymoon guided tour.

We can't wait to go on this honeymoon tour! Taking a journey underground on a subterranean adventure through limestone chambers and passages. Be suspended in awe and silence, surrounded by cave decorations and a galaxy of tiny living lights found in the Waitomo Glowworm Caves.

What could be better than knowing we'll have breakfast to enjoy between the sheets? We'll order eggs florentine, cinnamon rolls, freshly squeezed orange juice and hot coffee which all seem to taste better served to us in bed!

We’ll hop aboard the vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw, and cruise through the crystalline waters of Lake Wakitipu to Walter Peak on our honeymoon in The South Pacific! We’ll take in the beautiful Scottish Highland lakeside gardens and the Colonel’s Homestead as we dine on a buffet of carved roast beef, lamb, chicken and freshly caught seafood! We’ll have the perfect romantic honeymoon night out!

Thai food is dazzling and exotic. We will reserve a table to enjoy tantalizing dishes that will awake our taste buds as we dine on cuisine born out of artistry and ingenuity at our favorite restaurant!

We will start with our favorite delicacies at the sushi bar in our chosen Japanese restaurant. Then, enjoy the authentic Japanese dining room, where award-winning chefs skillfully twirl their knives through the air during the teppanyaki cooking show. We may even try a glass or two of hot sake.

We love to spice things up! We'll pick the most fabulous Mexican food restaurant in town, reserve our table and savor South of the Border tacos, tamales and other authentic Mexican favorites all topped off with some fresh salsa. Ole!

High above Church Bay on Waiheke Island with spectacular views across the Gulf to Auckland. We'll select a fine wine from the extensive wine list, and enjoy a unique honeymoon dining experience with impeccable service at the romantic Mudbrick Vineyard Restaurant.
