This gift will be a truly unique honeymoon experience! While floating through the sky we will admire stunning vistas of the wineries and the surrounding natural beauty from a bird’s eye view. Before we know it, we will be gliding gently with the soft breezes while discovering the scenery from a totally different perspective.

This gift will rent us two bikes to ride around Yosemite for a full day.

We will explore the castle with roaming access to two levels of the winery and our choice of five premium wine tastings. This includes a self-guided tour, which includes a map of the winery, wine tasting, and access to the ground level of the Castello and the main tasting bar and Knight's Hall below ground.

During this experience, we join a professional wine educator on an educational 60-minute guided tour through the castle, including the torture chamber, armory, and grand barrel room. The tour will end up in a private-to-the-group tasting bar where we will enjoy a tasting of five of their premium wines.

This experience includes: an overview of property history, grape growing and winemaking practices via a tour of the vineyard and winery and a guided tasting of a minimum of 6 wines. (The website says the fee is waived with an equivalent purchase so we may buy some nice wine and then do this as well!)

During this interactive cooking/dining experience, we make ramen noodles from scratch. Then, we combine our noodles with a delicious bowl of broth that was prepped earlier in the day (vegetarian available, hehe) and gather for dinner to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Pot stickers are served as appetizer and mochi ice cream as dessert.

We will relax on the Oak Terrace for a leisurely seating while we savor their reserve wines and take in the spectacular view. The tasting features a diverse portfolio of their wines, from the renowned Brut Prestige to DVX. The tray of artisan cheeses is served with dried fruit and nuts, paired specifically to enjoy with their sparkling wines.

The popular tour of Mumm Napa and the sparkling winemaking process lasts around an hour. We visit the demonstration vineyard, tour the winery, and finish in the Fine Art Photography Galleries. Tasting and flute are included.

For two hours, we will paddle alongside a guide as they give us a run-down of local lore. We will learn about the first settlers to Napa Valley, as well as Napa’s famed wineries and local businesses, and more!

With this gift, we will spend the afternoon leisurely rafting in Yosemite. The trip will include a 3-mile float down the Merced River in a raft that holds both of us.

When in San Francisco, we would like to take a day trip to Sausalito. The ferry to get there provides gorgeous views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the water, and more.

During the tour/tasting, a tour guide will share the rich history of Schramsberg and its 125-year-old caves, introduce us to the classic method of producing sparkling wine, and end with a tasting of a variety of Schramsberg Vineyards and Davies Vineyards wines.

In this experience, we play winemaker in a hands-on workshop and learn the magic of wine blending. The experience also includes a wine tour, limited-release wine tasting, and cheese & charcuterie platter.

We will do a half day whitewater rafting expedition with Zephyr Whitewater Expeditions in the the South Fork of the American River. The description says its course will take you through the small mining town of Coloma, where James Marshall first discovered gold at Sutters Mill and changed the course of California history. Calm sections are interspersed with wonderfully fun rapids and the excitement comes to a head in the last 3 miles of river known as “The Gorge”.

This full-day Yosemite Grand Tour combines Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point and the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias into one memorable tour.

This pass allows our rental car to enter Yosemite National Park! Yay! :D

We will start and end our trip in San Francisco. We would love to spend 2-3 nights there, exploring the city and nightlife.

We will be staying in a cabin in Yosemite, where we will hike, enjoy the outdoors, and relax.

We would love to stay 4 nights in Napa Valley, where we will drink a heck of a lot of wine.

A plate of rich cheeses and sumptuously sweet samples of fruit is a lovely wedding gift for our honeymoon in the wine country. At the winery we will order their famous cheese plate and indulge in the savory flavors of this decadent delight.

A romantic dinner in Downtown is a lovely wedding gift for our honeymoon in the wine country! Downtown offers an abundance of enchanting restaurants serving everything from casual cuisine to gourmet specialties. In an elegant setting we will indulge in a tantalizing dinner, a decadent dessert and a glass or two of locally produced wine!

With this gift, we will buy a bottle of wine at a winery that we visit, to enjoy later in the evening at our hotel. Cheers!

We love brunch! This gift buys us a nice brunch somewhere in San Francisco. One brunch spot that we think we'd like to try is the Outerlands. It is listed as a place to have a romantic brunch date. Mmm romance!

Foreign Cinema is listed as a romantic dinner date spot in San Francisco. This would buy us a fancy meal and wine, which we will enjoy while watching a movie in the courtyard.
