This thrilling four-wheel-drive journey will take us where breathtaking landscapes and traditional culture are just waiting to be discovered! We will experience the spectacular scenery, lives of rural Costa Ricans that have barely changed over the years, secluded soft silver-sand beaches, exotic flora and fauna and many quaint little villages. Sounds like honeymoon fun!

From the Bijagual Waterfalls we will plummet from cliffs deep within the lush jungle, climbing a small mountain range in the Carara National Park. On our adventure, we will witness breathtaking beauty of the Pacific Ocean and quaint fishing villages along the way, continuing on horseback through a jungle trail leading us to the waterfalls with its natural beauty, such as lush vegetation, toucans and red macaws. We will experience the pleasure of plunging in the pristine pools at the base of the waterfalls!

We can't wait to experience the thrill of this bicycle tour! With our guide at hand, we will pass by properties of livestock breeding for milk production, crops of the region, the National Monument of Guayabo and the town of Santa Cruz through wild mountains and challenging terrain. Once we reach our destination, the city of Turrialba, we will enjoy a true Costa Rican lunch while we meet with some of the locals!

We will start off with a crisp start in the morning, stopping for breakfast in the city of Cervantes where we will admire the antiques collected for many years. The real tour starts at Angostura, hydroelectric plant biking through sugar and coffee plantations, where the route is flat with mountain segments of dense jungle and up hill slopes. Continuing to La Posa where we will have the opportunity to dive in its crystal clear waters and enjoy its panoramic views, while enjoying a lovely lunch and the natural beauty surrounding us!

With your wedding gift, we will wake up just as the early birds do and make our way to Corcovado Park where we will get the chance to see more than 400 species of birds. We will have the opportunity to tour the ever-so-famous Violin Island to see marine birds of different sorts!

On our honeymoon we would love to hike through trails of the rainforest to Cahuita, visiting Puerto Vargas along the way. Our journey will come to a brief stop where we will have a romantic picnic lunch by the crystal clear Caribbean waters and maybe take a cool refreshing dip. Continuing on the trail we will see howler monkeys, the green ibis and the mighty rufous kingfisher above in the treetops! So many sights to take in but we will do it all thanks to you!

On our all-day tour we will be setting out to the open sea, having the chance to visit a burial grounds of the Pre-Columbian tribes, snorkel or scuba dive at a world-renowned diving hot spot. We will see many magnificent corals of a thousand colors, brilliantly colored fish and maybe even some friendly and fun-loving dolphins!

On our tour, we will depart from La Fortuna and drive to Los Chiles, a rustic town, taking a boat down to Rio Frio to the Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge. There, we will observe many different types of birds along with sloth, monkeys, caimans, lizards, bats and an array of colorful flora of the wetland. A truly beautiful experience!

This Canopy Tour will be an amazing, unforgettable experience! We'll fly through the tree tops of the Monteverde Could Forest on steel cables. We'll experience the various levels of the canopy as we glide and swing from tree to tree. Watch out Tarzan!

On this Catamaran Cruise sailing on crystal clear water, we'll kick off our shoes, layback, have a cool drink and take in the spectacular scenery.

This tour will show us nature-lovers the Eco-Center where we'll learn and observe the natural history of butterflies, a variety of tropical plants, traditional crops, organically farmed in gardens. Our next destination, the La Fortuna Waterfall for a leisurely float in the natural swimming holes and the rocks surrounding us to rest from our invigorating swim. Then it's back to town to enjoy a romantic lunch at "Lava Rocks Restaurant." Thank you!

Our tour begins with a hiking trip through a tropical humid forest, passing bridges and spectacular scenery, to the Fortuna Waterfall with amazing swimming holes. After our honeymoon lunch at "Lava Rocks Restaurant" we will make our way to tour the Arenal Volcano. As we walk up the lava flows and watch the sunset we'll await the darkness to see and hear glowing rocks of lava tumbling down the side of the mountain, then it's time for a relaxing soak in the warmed mineral waters of Tabacon Resort and a romantic honeymoon dinner for two!

We will admire nature in all its glory as we float down the Corobici River on a rubber raft. Exotic sights of flora and fauna are common to this area: ospreys, herons, egrets and a variety of iguanas and monkeys. This river float will be an unforgettable adventure we won't forget.

We will travel through a unique inland waterway learning about the important ecosystems in the world while enjoying the enchanting mangrove estuary, observing whiteface capuchin monkeys and an array of colorful jeweled birds. Fresh tropical fruits will be served on our kayaking adventure, after we have worked up a sweat!

Our experienced captain will take us out into the Pacific Ocean near Cano Island to crystal blue waters teaming with sea life. Here Orcas, pilot, humpback and other whales are sighted almost daily. Together we will have the thrill of meeting our dolphins face-to-face, sharing a soft touch, and viewing their grace and beauty. We'll make sure to take home a photo for a perfect memory of our honeymoon adventure.

A morning stroll never hurt anyone! We will wake up at the break of dawn to witness tropical birds such as toucans, parrots, oropendolas, colorful tanagers and parakeets. Now, we are the early birds!

Our tour will begin with a scenic drive through coffee and sugar cane plantations to the city of Grecia where the famous, rare and beautiful metal church rests. Next, we'll tour the craftsmen factories of Sarchi where they build oxcarts splendidly decorated and treasured worldwide for their unique beauty. What a day!

After a delicious breakfast, we will start our day with a stroll along the Rio Celeste River arriving at Tenorio Volcano National Park, where we'll hike through a tropical rainforest arriving at "Los Tenideros" of the Rio Celeste, a place where two streams of water come together and form one heavenly color of crystal blue. Hiking back, we will stop and take a mud bath in the healing mud, and take a luxurious soak in the natural hot springs while observing Tenorio Volcano, continuing through the jungle and our final reward, an exquisite lunch for our hunger! We will journey deep into the rainforest with the sound of the crested-mandible toucan, the mealy parrot and the bay wrens as we see the jungle's tropical beauty, coming across an indigenous village with a thatched big hut where the clan's chief used to live, now used as a ceremonial place receiving knowledge and learning about the history of the different constructions. Our grand finale, stopping at the Medical Botanical Garden learning about the medicinal plants and what they have done to help the people. A truly wonderful and interesting experience for our honeymoon!

With your wedding gift, we will indulge in the crisp night air and take a walk to The Dendrobates Reserve where we will get to witness different types of frogs from tree frogs to bullfrogs, along with a variety of colorful species such as poison dart frogs, snakes, night birds, mammals and insects. We will begin our exciting day by enjoying a delicious breakfast and a ride to the town of Tarcoles where we will explore one of the most fascinating national parks of all the tropical forests in Costa Rica. Filled with native animals, we will see crocodiles, ocelots, sloth, monkeys, scarlet macaws, toucans, and trogons along with many other special fauna of the tropical forests. Enjoying the tropical jungle's secrets and the nearby-secluded beach will be one truly amazing experience!

On this romantic day cruise we will board a luxurious yacht for a wonderful Pacific Islands adventure! Our destination is Tortuga Island, Famous for its pristine white sand beaches, shimmering clear waters and superb snorkeling. We will indulge in a delectable seafood buffet served right on the beach for that extra romantic island ambience! A paradise we will not want to miss!

We can't wait to take a leisurely cruise down the Tempisque River, visiting Palo Verde National Park, a wildlife sanctuary rich with rivers, marshland, mangroves and dry forest. Admiring the natural beauty, searching for crocodiles, monkeys, iguanas and many different species of birds. We'll have an amazing amount of fun!

With your wedding gift, we will tour through the Pan-American heading to Alajuela, visiting the agriculture monument, the Juan Santa Maria statue and the famous Mangos Park. We will take a stop at the coffee fields, a fern farm, strawberry plantations, and flower farms. Continuing onto the Caribbean area we will discover the La Paz Waterfall Gardens where we will hike trails, witness the largest enclosed butterfly observatory and a hummingbird gallery full of tropical jewels. We even have time to sit down and enjoy a romantic buffet lunch, Costa Rican style!

Traveling into the heart of a lush and tropical rainforest in an open-air gondola with canvas awnings, we will feel a bit of adrenaline as we soar above a rugged valley, a private reserve abundant with tropical wildlife learning about its history. We will be thanking you kindly!

What could be more romantic and relaxing than sailing through the turquoise Caribbean waters on an elegant yacht? We will enjoy the beautiful landscape together on our honeymoon sail.

Floating down the Penas Blancas River, we will discover true peacefulness as we observe monkeys, sloth, iguanas, turtles, crocodiles and many species of birds. Rowing quietly and gently down the river will enable us to take photos, enjoying the sounds of nature, sipping on a drink and indulging on the local tropical fruits and not even disturbing the animals!

We can't wait to experience boasting and beautiful museums, and learn about the historical and rich Costa Rican culture of San Jose. Driving through Sabana Park, we will take a walking tour through the historic National Theater, visit unique museums, the University of Costa Rica, and the Supreme Court along with a brief stop in Moravia allowing us to browse the boutiques and pick up some souvenirs from our Costa Rican honeymoon!

We are excited to go kayaking along the coast where we will witness the most breathtaking scenery, tropical forests, colorful and brilliant reefs, serene silver sand beaches and exotic flora and fauna. We will arrive on Playa 5 Ventanas Beach, and enjoy ourselves as we sip on tropical drinks and local exotic fruits, and still have some time for surfing!

We will finally experience the true Tarzan and Jane way of life as we soar through the trees of Tu Ru Bari Tropical Park. On this exhilarating tour, we will get a bird's eye view of the park's magnificent scenery and exotic flora and fauna and have the opportunity to taste the local flavors of the Costa Rican cuisine in one of the two restaurants Tu Ru Bari offers! Why not try our luck at reeling in the big one? We will get an early start for breakfast on a terrace of Restaurante, and we will be off on our fishing trip! As we relax and breathe in the cool crisp ocean breezes, we'll bask in the warm sun admiring the sea's majesty stretching out miles and miles of pure beauty. Having fun in the sun with high hopes of catching mahi mahi, tuna, or billfish while our chef would be more than happy to prepare our catch of the day!

We will appreciate refreshing ocean waters while learning the ancient skill and art of surfing. Our experienced Instructors are excellent teachers and are committed to perpetuating the heritage of surfing. Surfs up!

Costa Rica is world renowned for its exuberance of its biodiversity, such as its coffee. That's why two of Costa Rica's most popular destinations are The Butterfly Farm and The Coffee Tour of Cafe Britt. We will get to visit Alajuela where an enclosed tropical garden is filled with hundreds of butterflies, learning their natural history. Our journey continues onto Cafe Britt in Heredia where we will take the Coffee Tour, learning about the history of the coffee bean. We will even get a sample and the opportunity to purchase the strong stuff at factory price!

On this awesome underground adventure, our knowledgeable guide will take us through narrow passages, labyrinths and chambers where we'll see a famous rock formation called, "La Papaya" along with other amazing stalactites and stalagmites. This tour is only for those who like to get wet, muddy and messy just as we do!
