With your wedding gift we\'ll spend a night out at a traditional Irish Pub, enjoying its rich musical heritage from ballads and sean-nos singers, to fiddlers and pipers. We\'ll sit back and listen to traditional Irish music, or "Trad Sessions," and spend an evening with the locals!

We'll get to sample on this tour some of Ireland's famous brands of whiskey - that's whiskey with an 'e' while visiting some of Irelands oldest distilleries.

Variations of this toast include sláinte mhaith "good health" in Irish Gaelic (mhaith being the lenited form of maith "good"). In Irish Gaelic, the response to sláinte is sláinte agad-sa, which translates "to your health as well".

At his favorite Steak House, we'll reserve a table so John can tantalize his tastebuds! John will choose from an array of prime aged steaks, chops, bone-In, filet mignon, double pork chops, racks of lamb. All choices are grilled the classic way juicy, tender, with the flavors developed fully. Elke's mouth is watering just thinking about it!

We hope to get John his own Irish sweater in memory of his dad, Connie Boyle.

An authentic Aran sweater is something Jeannie would love. Very excited to explore these handmade treasures in the Irish countryside.

Put a little money towards a mini-shopping tour of the streets of Galway.

It won't be like driving at home. Exploring on our honeymoon will be an adventure. We've booked it already, so don't feel any pressure.

Jeannie & John will be spending 3 days downtown in coastal Westport. Sweeten their stay with a bike rental to allow some quality time exploring all that Westport has to offer. Single bikes go for 20 euro/day or they could even have a go at a tandem bike for 40 euro a day!

What we’ll do: On the Irish Food Trail, we'll eat delicious Irish food in the best restaurants and pubs in Galway. Meet locals on this foodie walking tour, where "Craic agus Ceol" (fun, food & music) is the main course. It's an ideal path to explore Ireland’s most popular and hidden Irish Restaurants. This is a great way to catch up with old friends and make some new friends along the way!

Give our piggy a sweet gift from Ireland, Cheekie too. We'll be missing her and the Cheek-meister during our time away. We'd love to return home with a special treat for each of them.

Music is a fundamental key to our relationship. With such a wide range of music stores in Galway and beyond, we\\'d love to bring an instrument of our own home with us. Maybe we could even learn a jig to go with it! (Low-end of the scale mandolin is priced at roughly 300 EUR!)

There is nothing like waking up to the sweet smell of flowers by our bedside. How romantic!

The Claddagh Ring tour takes in a demonstration of how the famous rings are made plus a tour of Galway City. Enjoy tea and scones with the hosts of the tour.

Put a few dollars towards a day trip of hiking through the countryside. Full disclosure, we're bringing our L.L.Bean boots but may need some nourishment.

Treat the couple to a bottle of wine in the countryside or maybe even a bottle or two to bring home.

We'll toast to our lives together as we uncork the effervescence of a bottle of champagne. Cheers!
