We will start our evening by discovering the Plaka and Thession/Psirri areas. Then we'll visit Haritos Street near Kolonaki to bar hop and rub shoulders with Athens sophisticated arty set. We won't plan on dining until after 10 pm just like the locals, and then if we have any energy left we'll dance at one of the many hotspots. What a fun evening!

One honeymoon date we can't miss! A day tour of Ancient Rome! An exciting journey through history and its legends, stories and anecdotes. With our guide we will begin at the Colosseum and the Arch of Constantine, then take a leisurely stroll through the Roman Forum and the Imperial Fori to the Capitol Hill, ending up at the Pantheon, Hadrian's temple dedicated to all the pagan gods. What a great day!

With your wedding gift we'll enjoy an excursion to the bustling city of Naples, home to mouth-watering pizza, and then head off to Pompeii with well-preserved ancient ruins and Italian treasures. This will be an incredible experience!

Our first stop on the cruise is the Greek Isles. Your gift will give us a day in Santorini, starting with a trip to Pyrgos, a traditional village with fine old houses and the remains of a Venetian castle sitting on the hilltop. We'll take a walking tour through the narrow, ascending streets that encircle the village. Our walking tour will conclude at the unique circle-shaped tavern where we'll enjoy some local specialties and the magnificent views over Santorini Island. Local dishes served will include tomato fritters, fava puree, cheese pies, meatballs, local cheese, tomatoes, olives and unlimited wine. Unlimited wine!

Istanbul is the only port we'll stay in overnight on our cruise, so your gift will help us take advantage of this with a night out on the town. We'll begin with a scenic orientation drive to a local nightclub to enjoy Turkish cuisine with Turkish hospitality. A floorshow will be performed during and after dinner, consisting of Oriental belly dancers and several folk dance groups from various districts of Anatolia. Traditional shows will follow dinner and we will have a glimpse of the Turkish cultural variety.

We will explore the quintessential wine region of Tuscany! We will learn about the history of the distinctive and historical wine making region of Italy while our expert guides will share their vast knowledge of wine, and more important, offer us a sampling of some of their favorites. Tuscany is not only famous for its wine but also its olive oil. We will taste some of the famous Crostini Toscano as we learn why extra virgin olive oil plays such an important role in Italian Cuisine.

We will tour through the fertile and picturesque Tuscan countryside towards the historic university city of Pisa. Together, we'll take the panoramic drive along the Arno embankments, visit the Piazza dei Miracoli famous for the celebrated Leaning Tower, and unequalled masterpieces of Romanesque art carried out between the 11th and 12th centuries. This will be a great honeymoon day!

A stop on our cruise is Kusadasi, Turkey, home to the ancient ruins of Ephesus, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This gift will allow us to take a drive along the Aegean Sea and tour the temples and ruins. It also includes lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the ruins of the Temple of Didyma

While in port in Athens, your gift will take us on a tour of ancient Athens, including visits to the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the largest Corinthian style temple in Greece, Hadrian's Arch, the National Gardens, the National Library and the Parliament Building, formerly the Royal Palace. We'll also visit the Panathinion Stadium, the Acropolis to see the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Greece, and, of course, the crowning glory of Athens, the incomparable Parthenon. Dedicated to Athena, the patron goddess of Athens, it is Greece's largest and most impressive temple.

The main dining room will be spectacular, but eating there 11 nights in a row might get boring. The ship has four alternate restaurants where we can eat for an additional fee. Your gift would allow us to splurge on world class sushi (Matt's favorite!) in the Japanese fusion restaurant or filet mignon in the steakhouse.

To complement our fine dining experience on our honeymoon cruise, we'll choose from the extensive wine list and enjoy a fine bottle of wine on you. Cheers!
