On our honeymoon, we’ll witness the most beautiful and famous attractions of Tokyo! At the Tokyo Tower we’ll admire a bird’s eye view of the city and its breathtaking surroundings. After enjoying a tea ceremony adorned with Bonsai trees we’ll indulge in a traditional barbeque lunch at Chinzanso Restaurant. Next, we’ll take a joy ride passing by the Japanese Capitol and make a short stop to do some shopping in front of the Imperial Palace. We’ll board our boat to enjoy a short cruise to Asakusa where we’ll admire the centuries old temples and do more shopping at Nakimise Shopping Street!

With your wedding gift, we will be on our way to an amazing tour where we will discover the beauty of Ise Peninsula, Ise Shrines, the pristine Futamigaura Beach and Mikimoto Pearl Island, it speaks for itself!

We'll have a drink or two on you at the local bar or at our favorite saloon. Cheers!

All of the deer in the park will be thanking YOU for funding their snack time! According to local folklore, Sika deer from this area were considered sacred due to a visit from Takemikazuchi-no-mikoto, one of the four gods of Kasuga Shrine. He was said to have been invited from Kashima Shrine in present-day Ibaraki Prefecture, and appeared on Mount Mikasa (also known as Mount Wakakusa) riding a white deer. From that point, the deer were considered divine and sacred by both Kasuga Shrine and Kōfuku-ji. Killing one of these sacred deer was a capital offense punishable by death up until 1637, the last recorded date of a breach of that law. After World War II, the deer were officially stripped of their sacred/divine status, and were instead designated as national treasures and are protected as such. Today, visitors can purchase "deer-crackers" (鹿煎餅 Shika-senbei) to feed the deer in the park!!!

We can’t wait for this exciting sumo wresting match on our honeymoon in Tokyo! At Kokugikan, the Sumo Amphitheater, we’ll enjoy being entertained by sumo wrestlers. This tour offers us excitement and anticipation and an upbeat start to our day!

Aoshima, also known as Cat Island (猫の島 Neko no shima), is an island in Ehime Prefecture, Japan, known for its large number of feline residents. Felines outnumber humans by a ratio of approximately 10:1. They were introduced to combat rodents on fishing boats, but remained on the island and reproduced in large numbers. The island is roughly 1 mile long and 30 minutes away from Tokyo via ferry. The cats have a hard time finding resources on the island so we will be taking food to all 50+ feline residents.
