Stand up paddle is a unique hybrid of surfing and canoe paddling and Waikiki is one of the best places to try out and learn this new sport. We will take beginner or advanced stand up paddle lessons with an experienced professional on our Hawaiian honeymoon. Your contribution allows us to discover an exciting experience that we will never forget!

We will embark on a horseback riding adventure on our Hawaiian honeymoon! At Kualoa Ranch, we will ride the southern half of the ranch on horses to see movie sites, witness views of the famed Mokoli‘I Island and their ancient 800-year old Hawaiian fishpond.

Together, we will discover an underwater world of majesitc beauty without even getting wet! In the safety and comfort of an air-conditioned, Coast Guard approved submarine, we will dive to depths well over 100 feet. The Atlantis dive site is teeming with green turtles, sharks, stingrays, yellow tangs, eels, and many other species of underwater marine life.

Makani Kai Helicopters offer us spectacular aerial tours of the island. We will get some of the best views and the most memorable tours of Hawaii. We will see Pearl Harbor and the bookends of WWII, the Arizona Memorial and the Battleship Missouri, the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor, Aloha Tower and Marketplace, and historic Honolulu Harbor, pass beneath in a wave of color. We will get a bird’s eye view of Punchbowl, the National Cemetery of the Pacific, as well as Waikiki, Diamond Head and the splendor of Hanauma Bay. Touring by helicopter is the only way to see many of Oahu’s natural attractions, including the towering Sacred Falls, the lush rainforests, hidden valleys of the interior, and razor-sharp ridges eroded by eons of wind and weather.

The Vive Penthouse is located on the 22nd floor of the hotel where the views of Waikiki and the Pacific Ocean will take our breath away. After a long day of honeymoon activities in paradise, we will have the perfect place to rest. This spacious, contemporary suite offers panoramic views, a built-in kitchen and bar, a parlor for entertaining, an ample seating area, a 55” flat screen HD LED TV, a king size bed with lucsious bed linens, an elegant bathroom with lavish amenities, and more. From the comfort of our Penthouse Suite, we will watch the sunset and unwind while watching the twinkling lights of Waikiki.

For a relaxed evening out or a romantic meal overlooking the beautiful crystal waters of Waikiki Bay, the options are endless for an unforgettable dining experience in paradise!

All along the main strips of Kalakaua Avenue, the heart of Waikiki, we can explore a multitude of shops and boutiques as we treasure hunt for the perfect honeymoon souvenirs to remember from our romantic island getaway. Open three days a week, and just 20-minutes from Waikiki, we will discover unique treasures at Hawaii’s largest open air flea market, Aloha Stadium Swap Meet where we will pick up local handcrafted items, jewelry, pieces of art, and more!
