Each suite boasts carved wooden doors, which guard the private foyer for ultimate privacy. We will step in and relax in the gracefully furnished living room, where the beauty is in the details of Balinese art and brilliant splashes of color as well as the luxuriant cotton fabric sofa and large armchair surrounding a rich brown leather coffee table.

The top floor of The St. Regis Bali Resort is reserved for the grandest of all suites, the Grand Astor Presidential Suite. Here, stunning views of the exceptional Indian Ocean as well as the lush gardens and blue lagoons will enchant us. Outdoors, the balcony features a grand staircase that will lead us to a magnificent 146-square-meter wooden upper deck with lounge chairs and heated 15-square-meter infinity pool with Jacuzzi facilities, enabling us to enjoy the panoramic view. The upper deck’s unique two-way access also leads down either side to a lower deck. Surrounded by lush tropical plants, it features a Chinese day bed and lounge chairs on one side and a family dining table on the other.

Contemporary cuisine based on fresh, quality ingredients is the mantra of the day when Chef Agung Gede approaches his menus at this specialty restaurant, Kayuputi. As the chef integrates Asian Inspired Haute Cuisine, he uses Wagyu beef from Australia, seafood from local waters as well as imported specialties.

The beach-side Vista Bar offers us sweeping ocean views, a swim-up pool bar, and a wide selection of refreshing beverages—from cocktails and champagne to fresh coconut. We’ll sit on the bar stools while submerged in cool waters and sip our favorite libation.

Creatively designed for dinner, the enchanting Dulang is surrounded by a chef’s garden featuring dozens of herbs and spices. We’ll discover the multitude of tastes of the authentic Indonesian rijstaffel cuisine. We’ll begin with a traditional jamu, followed by a wide array of favorites from across the archipelago.

Spectacular views at sunrise will entice us to enjoy a fresh, à la carte breakfast from the vantage point of the signature restaurant, Boneka. We’ll experience the finest tea service on the island and try their signature Bloody Mary, a revered tradition at all St. Regis hotels and resorts.
