Big Sur is a rugged stretch of California’s central coast between Carmel and San Simeon. Bordered to the east by the Santa Lucia Mountains and the west by the Pacific Ocean, it’s traversed by narrow, 2-lane State Route 1, known for winding turns, seaside cliffs and views of the often-misty coastline. The sparsely populated region has numerous state parks for hiking, camping and beachcombing.

We would love to go camping in some of the beautiful national parks we plan on visiting. They're too big to see all in one day!

With your lovely wedding gift, we will enjoy a honeymoon bike ride! We’ll admire natural beauty while cruising through the bustling streets or winding trails on our bicycles. This will be a fun and thrilling way to sight-see and take in all the surroundings of this beautiful city or mountainside town!

This gift will be a truly unique romantic honeymoon experience - floating across the sky and on top of the world. We'll plan now to glide gently with the breezes and view the scenery from a totally different perspective.

Two distinct desert ecosystems, the Mojave and the Colorado, come together in Joshua Tree National Park. A fascinating variety of plants and animals make their homes in a land sculpted by strong winds and occasional torrents of rain. Dark night skies, a rich cultural history, and surreal geologic features add to the wonder of this vast wilderness in southern California.

Gliding through the crystal clear waters of the Pacific Ocean and discovering its magnificent beauty will be one unforgettable experience! We’ll take in the scenery of the land and sea, admiring kelp forests teeming with colorful fish and abundant marine life as we paddle. Afterwards, we will relax and take a refreshing dip in the blue Pacific!

We will witness the towering coastal redwoods of Muir Woods, experience the enormity of the trees and see why John Muir claimed the area to be one of the best tree lovers monument that could possibly be found in all forests of the world. This will be a very fun outing for our honeymoon!

From its thunderous ocean breakers crashing against rocky headlands and expansive sand beaches to its open grasslands, brushy hillsides, and forested ridges, Point Reyes offers visitors over 1500 species of plants and animals to discover. Home to several cultures over thousands of years, the Seashore preserves a tapestry of stories and interactions of people.

Together we will explore the winery of our choice on a private winery tour and wine tasting! Our private wine tour begins while being entertained and learning about the winemaking process. Before our tour comes to an end, we will get to sample different bottles of wine and Champagne!

This dramatic landscape testifies to nature's size, beauty, and diversity—huge mountains, rugged foothills, deep canyons, vast caverns, and the world's largest trees. The parks lie side by side in the southern Sierra Nevada east of the San Joaquin Valley.

The best part of roadtripping is happening upon local best kept secrets! Sometimes you can't plan for everything and just have to be spontaneous!

The strength of granite, the power of glaciers, the persistence of life, and the tranquility of the High Sierra... First protected in 1864, Yosemite National Park is best known for its waterfalls, but within its nearly 1,200 square miles, we'll explore deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant sequoias, a vast wilderness area, and much more.

The catch of the day awaits us! As seafood lovers it will be hard to choose from the different types of seafood restaurants and the variety of fresh fish, all complemented by delectable side dishes, fresh vegetables, and an incredible selection of wines. A delicious treat!

At any desired Chinese food restaurant we'll reserve a table and savor the exotic flavors of Asian Cuisine. We may even use our chopsticks!

We will start with our favorite delicacies at the sushi bar in our chosen Japanese restaurant. Then, enjoy the authentic Japanese dining room, where award-winning chefs skillfully twirl their knives through the air during the teppanyaki cooking show. We may even try a glass or two of hot sake.

We love to spice things up! We'll pick the most fabulous Mexican food restaurant in town, reserve our table and savor South of the Border tacos, tamales and other authentic Mexican favorites all topped off with some fresh salsa. Ole!

Sushi is one of our favorite foods! Help us have a special dinner date with some of the freshest California has to offer.
