We’ll embark on a three hour trek in one of Myanmar’s lush jungles. When we finish and get to the top of the mountain, we’ll get breathtaking views of Ngapali Bay. This is widely known as one of Myanmar’s most popular beaches and the short trek will take us through rice fields and small villages on a clear path filled with the jungle’s wildlife.

The waterways of Inle Lake are home to the famous “floating gardens” and lined with stilted teak and bamboo houses. The floating world of Inle Lake will show us banks of handmade vegetation rafts that grow tomatoes, squash and other fruits and vegetables.

The "Angkor Wat of Myanmar" and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we’ll cycle through Bagan where thousands of Buddhist temples and pagodas underline the plains, randomly entwined between toddy palms and bamboo houses. The morning cycle through the countryside will be spent learning about the history and meaning of the many Buddhas, paintings and carvings.

Not exactly easy to get to and enough off the beaten path is Ngapali Beach. This is where we will hire a guide for a full day spearfishing trip! What an adventure as we will be provided with snorkel gear and a bamboo spear. We can’t wait to bring our catch to the many restaurants that will fry our fish right there on the beach!

Myanmar features spectacular untouched reefs by Ngapali Beach and in the Myeik (Mergui) archipelago. Due to their remote areas, especially Mergui, the cost of the dive is more than other areas of Asia but well worth it.

Seeing Bagan soaring in the sky from a hot air balloon is a must! We’ll overlook lush lands and ancient pagodas, the day and sunset will look a little different than normal floating high up in the air. An experience we will never forget.

We’ve explored land by foot, car and by boat, now we will experience something brand new. The Golden Land of Myanmar will offer us so many new places that we could not reach except on a motorbike. An amazing journey that we are so excited for!

One of the most beautiful beaches in Asia, Ngapali beach is unique with its tranquility and transparent waters. Ngapali is still an untouched beach with a tropical atmosphere of swaying palm trees and perfect blue ocean. Located on the banks of Bay of Bengal, Ngapali is the most prestigious beach in Myanmar, recently named as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

We’ll visit the busy fish market before the boat journey to Mrauk U, the 15th century capital of Burma. Today, Mrauk U is a major archaeological site with the Royal Palace, Shitthaung Temple, Ratanbon Pagoda and much more.

One of Asia’s most spectacular destinations, we cannot wait to experience Myanmar. Exploring Myanmar will feel like stepping into another world.

Perched high on a hill in Kinpun, southern Myanmar, is the Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, a rock covered in gold leaf. This religious pilgrimage is around 7 miles one way, where we will pass tea shops and many stares (with friendly waves) as very few tourists opt to make the climb from the base of the mountain by foot.

In the hills of the Shan Highlands in eastern Myanmar, we will take a short flight to Heho. A 2-hour drive takes us to an intimate elephant sanctuary, dedicated to providing sustainable care for retired working Asian elephants and the education of local and foreign visitors. A knowledgeable elephant guide will teach us about these majestic creatures. We’ll learn how to safely feed them and jump in the river to bathe them!

In Kengtung we will experience this mysterious region of various Burmese tribes that haven't been explored in the mountain valley of Shan. The town has kept its original traits and old traditions along with many of the colonial structures of classic Shan design. After we will visit Wan Pauk, a village of the Palaung tribe and then to the beautiful hills surrounding Kyaing Tong.

We’ll trek through the hills filled with natural lakes and caves, home to ethnic tribes. Located in the Karen Hills near the Kayan State’s northern tip, Loikaw is one of the least visited but one of the most picturesque places in Myanmar. Travelers are now viewing the stunning natural sceneries and cultural sights, as this area was once off limits to due to a long history of conflict between ethnic rebels and the government. Loikaw is also where we will experience the famous “Padaung” people, the long neck women who wear traditional brass rings around their necks.

Hpa An offers monumental hills, astonishing caves, and engaging lakes. The unique caves house thousands of Buddha stupas and a pagoda built in the middle of a lake will make this one of our favorite stops. We can visit Mount Zwekabin, one of the most famous mountains in Myanmar or the city of Yangon. Hpa An is filled with ancient monuments and beautiful landscapes for us to experience.
