Many ancient culinary traditions and characteristics of Italy's distinct regional cuisines and traditional recipes are passed down from generation to generation. We will experience hands on instruction by our own professional Italian chef. It's true what they say, "Italians live to eat while the rest of the world eats to live."

A gondola ride is the quintessence of romantic Venice! We will enjoy a soothing journey along the canals and be captivated by the glamour and elegance of this true Italian honeymoon experience. We'll be taken to a spectacular water front Venetian restaurant to be wined and dined in style. Simply heaven!

On our romantic Italian honeymoon, we'll embrace Venice's rich history on this guided walk around St. Mark's Square! Afterwards we will tour some of the city's most famous historical landmarks including the gold-dotted St. Mark's Basilica, the Gothic Ducale Palace and the breathtaking Bridge of Sighs.

With your wedding gift we will explore three of Venice's most fascinating islands, Murano, Burano, and Torcello by boat. This romantic honeymoon guided tour takes us to Murano's ancient glass-making factories, Burano's centuries-old lace-making houses and Torcello's Byzantine churches.

On our walking tour we'll visit St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel. The Vatican is one of the most interesting and breathtakingly beautiful sites in the world, with some very interesting stories, and our personal guide has all the scoop!

The catch of the day awaits us! As seafood lovers it will be hard to choose from the different types of seafood restaurants and the variety of fresh fish, all complemented by delectable side dishes, fresh vegetables, and an incredible selection of wines. A delicious treat!

We will have to choose from all the local Italian restaurants in town to reserve the perfect table in the most romantic setting. We will tantalize our taste buds with homemade pasta, Panini, fresh Seafood, select an Italian vino and enjoy the best dessert ever, ending with a cup of cappuccino. Now that's amore!

Any help to get to and from our destination is a wonderful gift. We will be thanking you long after take off.

Roadrunner® Food Bank of New Mexico is the largest non-profit dedicated to solving food insecurity in New Mexico. As a food distribution hub, they provide food to hundreds of affiliated member partners around the state including food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and regional food banks. They also distribute food through specialized programs helping children, families and seniors at schools, low-income senior housing sites, senior centers and with and through health care partnerships. Every week 70,000 hungry children, seniors and families are reached through this statewide hunger relief network.

As aspiring oenophiles, or people who just like wine, we'll spend a day at our desired winery enjoying the entertaining and knowledgeable explanation of the winemaking process, followed by a tasting of some of the finest wines!
