We will charter a boat and enjoy a honeymoon day of sport fishing at the best fishing spot on the coast! Hopefully we'll catch some Mahi Mahi, Pacific Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Wahoo, or Rainbow Runners! Our catch of the day can be deliciously prepared for us at one of the dock restaurants while we enjoy the coldest beverage in town!

Together we'll experience a remarkable and memorable adventure on the Fair Wind II catamaran to historical Kealakekua Bay! While setting sail across the pristine ocean, we'll take delight in the natural beauty of the ocean's splendor and the remote Kona Coast. We will swim and snorkel through the crystalline waters, among tropical friendly fish, colorful corals and abundant lava rock reefs. After experiencing a thrill from their 15-foot waterslide and high dive jump, we'll tantalize our taste buds with a scrumptious barbeque lunch! With spectacular views built on a lava bed much older than the Kaniku flow, this course is characterized by rolling terrain punctuated by Kiawe (mesquite) forests where trees often come into play. No. 17, a par three tucked into a natural lava amphitheater is a favorite "I was here" photo spot. The herds of feral goats that frequent the entire course moving from hole to hole throughout the day, will give me plenty of reasons to adjust my score!

Known as the former home to the annual Senior Skins Game from 1990-2000, this course snakes through the stark, rugged a'a lava of the prehistoric Kaniku lava flow. Volcano goddess Pele reigns and if she favors us, the balls that hit into the lava will miraculously bounce back onto the fairway. If not, kiss them goodbye! The spectacular No. 15, is one of the most photographed over-the-water golf holes in the world. We'll need plenty of balls for this course!

We will indulge in luxury that exceeds all of our expectations. Just steps from the beach our room is not just romantic its spacious, comfortable, luxurious and features a private lanais.
