The Arenal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas. From our observation point, we will feel the ground tremble and see the night sky explode with ash and lava in a natural display of fireworks. We will visit the hot springs of Arenal, where we will relax in the soothing waters and be caressed by the cool night air while observing the stars and the incredible night sky above the volcano. This is absolutely an evening we will not want to miss.

We'll have a drink or two on you at the local bar or at our favorite saloon. Cheers!

We'll let an experienced guide take us on a hike through Manuel Antonio National Park so we don't get lost! Visiting two pristine, sun-kissed white-sand beaches, Espadilla Sur and Manuel Antonio learning about local plant life, pointing out some of the subsiding fauna such as capuchin, squirrel monkeys, agouti and the three-toed sloth along with 184 species of birds. A honeymoon adventure we will always remember!

This excursion starts with a comfortable horse back ride. After we arrive at the observation deck, we will do a natural history walk where we will see and learn about the tropical ecosystems with one of our specialized guides. Then the ziplinging begins! Once at the first cable, we will start the zip line course, 10 in total, which span lengths of 200 meters up to the longest of 800 meters. Each cable offers a different sensation and experience crossing canyons, observing waterfalls, gliding over the tops of trees or enjoying the view from a spectacular Observation Tower 18 meters high.

The Río Toro explodes with a series of over 45 continuous wet and wild class III-IV rapids in a secluded, tropical rainforest canyon - where we’ll spend more than 3 hours rafting through dense jungle in a personalized, small-group tour. Wish us luck!!!

We will glide through crystal clear, aqua blue pacific waters, marvel at the unspoiled beaches of Manuel Antonio, and explore the mysterious islands that lie just offshore our coast. Where jagged rock formations and towering cliffs host numerous varieties of nesting marine birds and their young, we'll watch spotted dolphins native to the warm coastal waters frolic and jump in our Catamaran’s wake as we pass giant sea turtles (so important to Costa Rica) and observe migrating humpback whales. What could be better than knowing we'll have breakfast to enjoy between the sheets? We'll order eggs florentine, cinnamon rolls, freshly squeezed orange juice and hot coffee which all seem to taste better served to us in bed!

It's casual, fun and perfect for an afternoon lunch. With so many restaurants in town, we'll choose the most perfect, casual restaurant where we'll take delight in the juiciest burgers, fresh sandwiches, chicken and fries!

The catch of the day awaits us! As seafood lovers it will be hard to choose from the different types of seafood restaurants and the variety of fresh fish, all complemented by delectable side dishes, fresh vegetables, and an incredible selection of wines. A delicious treat!

With a spectacular view of the ocean, we will join the locals and feast on comida tipica (native dishes), fresh fish, and succulent steaks complemented by gallo pinto, the national dish of fried rice and black beans.

A table will be reserved for us at our favorite restaurant. We can choose from fresh fruits, freshly baked pastries, breakfast meats, scrambled eggs, French toast, hash browns, juice and coffee. Give us the works we need our energy on our getaway.

We look forward to reserving an intimate candlelit dinner. We'll choose a quiet restaurant with a warm atmosphere, outstanding cuisine and impeccable service.
