We'll take a ride across the desert to the great Pyramid of Khuf, tour the Giza Plateau, visit the Sphinx, and Valley Temple. We will experience all of this on the back of a camel!

We'll take a morning trip to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, built during the Ptolemaic Dynasty to honor the falcon-headed god.

Absolutely no visit to Cairo would be complete without taking an unforgettable stroll around the Giza plateau, home to the Great Pyramids of Giza. The only present-day survivors of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. By standing at the very foot of the pyramids or Khufu (Cheops), Khafre (Chephren) and Menkaure (Mycerinus) we will appreciate the skill and determination of the Ancient Egyptians who built them 4500 years ago. We will then venture inside one of these fabulous monuments and explore the mysteries of its ancient past for ourselves.

Treat us to a morning hot air balloon ride over Luxor's temples and monuments. The excursion takes us up above the sprawling Dendera Temple complex and other well-preserved structures such as Hathor Temple.

We'll have a drink or two on you at the local bar or at our favorite saloon. Cheers!

With your wedding gift we can explore the small, beautifully planned Luxor Museum, where we will see magnificent antiquities unearthed in the area including the royal mummies of Ahmose I and Rameses I.

No trip to Luxor is complete without a visit to the strikingly graceful Temple of Luxor, dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun-Min, Mut and Khonsu. Founded by Amenophis III in the XVIII Dynasty, it was added by successful pharaohs including Tutankhamun, Horemheb and notably by Ramses II. This will be a honeymoon experience we will not forget!

We'll visit Abu Simbel to see magnificent temples, including the renowned four giant seated figures, which were built in the 13th century B.C. by Rameses II and are thought to depict him and his queen, Nefertari. The colossal structures were dismantled and moved to this new location during construction of the Aswan High Dam that created Lake Nasser, a major engineering feat in and of itself. After a guided tour, we'll enjoy a sound and light show at Abu Simbel.

With your gift, we'll tour the Aswan High Dam, completed in the 1960s, and the Temple of Kalabsha, which honors the androgynous Nubian sky and sun god Mandulis. Then we'll take a scenic ride on a felucca, a traditional Egyptian wooden sailboat, on the Nile, and visit Philae, a small island used as a priestly retreat.

We'll sail to Kom Ombo where we'll take a guided tour of the unusual double temple dedicated to both Horus and the crocodile god Sobek, a fertility deity thought to have created the world. Afterwards, we'll continue cruising up the Nile to Aswan where we'll attend a Nubian party featuring the evocative traditional music of the region.

At the vast necropolis of Sakkara we will see the amazing 4600-year old Step Pyramid of Zoser, considered to be the beginning of architecture. We will explore the beautifully decorated tombs belonging to high officials of the 3rd and 6th Dynasties, showcasing the beauty and excellence of ancient Egyptian art where we will get a fascinating insight into daily life in acient Eygpt.

With your gift, we'll tour the Temple of Isis who was worshiped as the ideal mother and wife as well as the patron of nature and magic. We'll get to explore the Nubian monuments that comprise a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We will visit the two magnificent temples at Abu Simbel. These twin temples were carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharoh Ramesses ll in the 13th century BC, as a lasting monument to himself and his queen Nefertari, to commemorate his alleged victory at the Battle of Kadesh. Without a doubt, this will be a highlight of our trip to Egypt.

With your gift, we can take a trip to Valley of the Kings and the temple of Hatshepsut, one of Egypt's most successful pharaohs and one of her few female rulers, on the Nile's west bank, opposite the city of Luxor. Thank you!

We'll take a morning walk through the "Valley of the Lions," a striking avenue lined with sphinxes. Then, we'll tour the temple of Dakka, dedicated to the ibis-headed Thoth, and the nearby Greco-Roman temple of Meharakka. We can't wait!

We will take a trip back in time to the vast Museum of Egyptian Antiquities which holds the greatest collection of Egyptian treasures in the world. These include the golden treasures of the Boy King Tutankhamun, and not to be missed will be a visit to the Royal Mummy room, containing the mortal remains of some of Ancient Egypt's most famous pharaohs. A honeymoon experience that is sure to be embalmed in our memory!

We'll cruise across Lake Nasser to Amada and take an afternoon tour of the small but interesting Nubian Amada Temple. The oldest of the Lake Nasser temples, it houses a collection of brightly painted historical carvings. Afterwards, we'll head to Kasr Ibrim where we'll attend a Nubian show featuring traditional music, dance and costumes. Yippee!

We would love just one more night to celebrate and indulge in romance! At our favorite restaurant we’ll enjoy spectacular cuisine and sip on classical cocktails and concoctions while toasting to us and our ‘last’ night on our escape in paradise!

We look forward to reserving an intimate candlelit dinner. We'll choose a quiet restaurant with a warm atmosphere, outstanding cuisine and impeccable service.

We would love to shop around for our favorite piece of art as a cherished keepsake from our once in a lifetime trip. This gift will adorn our home for many years to come!

We'll shop till we drop in the world famous Khan El-Khalili, the largest in the Middle East. Originally founded in the 14th Century as a watering stop for caravanserai. As we wander through the labyrinth of narrow passageways we will find workshops and merchants selling everything from woodwork, glassware and leather goods to perfumes, spices, fabrics and Pharaonic curiosities. We will need to brush up on our bargaining skills!

What a great start! We can arrange to arrive in style and comfort...maybe enjoy a glass or two of champagne to toast to our lives together.
