A few of our friends that have visited Rome said one of the most memorable things to do is to attend a soccer game at the 82,000 seat Olympic Stadium. Rome has two teams and apparently you have to be loyal to one for life. As luck has it, Lazio Roma was chosen for us since they are the only ones playing when we have availability! They will be playing the team from Genoa and it is sure to be out of control!

Jason makes me go to the opera, I make him do random things like learn to row a gondola. Jason and I will spend a morning learning to row one of Venice's classic gondolas.

You know how we love a massage - let's see how the Italians stack up to the Hawaiians!

Truly, we need to experience ALL of Roman culture so on our last night in Rome we will be headed to OMOgenic at Circolo degli Artisti. It is presented by Di'Gay Project and is an alternative night for the gay and lesbian scene in Rome. The weekly OMOgenic appointment starts with pizza, projections and loungy music and ends with breakfast and house music.

After we leave Florence and before we arrive in Rome, we will stop to spend the day in Pisa. This gift includes lunch and access to all of Pisa's attractions including the Piazza de Miracoli, the Cathedral, the Baptistry and of course, the Tower!

This day tour will take us on a guided tour through all of Rome's historical monuments including the Roman Colloseum, Ceasar's Forum, the Area Sacra di Torre Argentina, the Arch of Constantine, Circus Maximus, Palatine Hill, and the Pantheon.

As you know, I don't drink and Jason is much more into cocktails so instead of doing a wine tour, we opted for a tour of the Berta Distillery -- maker of some of Italy's finest Grappas. This tour takes through the facilities nestled at the base of the Asti hills, and includes free tasting and a bottle of Berta Grappa Nebbiol.

Jason is a HUGE opera fan and know trip to Northern Italy would be complete without a trip to Milan's world renowned opera house. These tickets are for a performance of Giacomo Puccini's Turnadot.

This is a fully guided tour by bicycle of the hills of Tuscany complete with wine tasting for Jason and a fantastic lunch. Now before you all go "WTF?!?, Brian and Jason don't ride bikes" - here's THE BEST part! These bikes are all 8 speed electric bikes so we have the option of cruising at a fantastic pace up the hills of Tuscany using just the energy of the Panasonic electric motor - win-win right?

On our walking tour we'll visit St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel. The Vatican is one of the most interesting and breathtakingly beautiful sites in the world, with some very interesting stories, and our personal guide has all the scoop!

Truly La Dolce Vita! We found an amazing villa in here which is going to be our home base on the Italian Riviera from which we will get to explore everything the region has to offer.

On our second day in Milan (the night after La Scala and some clubbing) we are going to be getting a late start so what better way to start the day than with brunch at Le Biciclette. Le Biciclette is in a former bicycle shop that is now an art gallery that also boasts one of Milan's best brunches.

We have a lot planned for this trip and we will have to make sure we are caffeinated! Your gift will make sure we can hit Italy's coffee bars every day, no matter what city we are in!

Our first great meal is going to be at Osteria Sora al Ponte in Venice. They are known for their fish, fresh fish, cooked in the Venetian way.

If you think I am not going to be shopping in Milan than you REALLY don't know me that well. Of course we will have to stop and refuel an why not stop just off Via Montenapoleone at Milan's Il Teatro, one of the top restaurants in the city! The most amazing thing about this restaurant? The Chocolate room where Pastry Chef Graziano Bistoletti has recreated a tropical jungle – all made of chocolate.

A friend of ours suggested this restaurant saying it is one of THE BEST places for pasta in Rome. It is not near any touristy areas so it should be AMAZING!

Al Covo is a fish restaurant owned by a Venetian and his American wife. It was chosen by Conde Naste traveler as one of the top 10 restaurants in Italy.

Ristorante Il Frantoio is one of the finest restaurants on the Italian Riviera and features local recipes creatively adapted and personalised with great care. Their specialty is seafood that had been brought in fresh that day.

Da Puny, located right on the piazetta in Portofino is said to have both the best food AND the best service of all the restaurants in town. The owner Puny, caters to every table personally as if all the people eating there were VIPs.

This is sure to be one of our most fantastic evenings! We leave the garage in the centre of Florence in a Fiat convoy in the early evening and head out into the Tuscan hills. We make a couple of stops to admire the views and take photographs on the way to the 15th Century Villa, where we will be welcomed into a peaceful and refined atmosphere steeped in renaissance history. This stunning villa is not a restaurant, we will be the exclusive dinner guests, and it is a local cook who will be called in specially to prepare our Tuscan meal. We will also be able to enjoy a stroll through the gardens and a sneak down to the take a look at the wine cellars, where Jason will be invited to choose a bottle of their award-winning wine.

As most of you know, there will of course be a third party traveling with us on our trip and she will definitely need the outfits to do it. Since we will be traveling to the land of fashion, Barbie will need to definitely look the part. This gift includes a Versace Versus bodysuit and fur vest, the "Summer in Rome" outfits, a gown by Versace, a gown by Giorgio Armani, Ferrari Fashion and a selection of designer bags, shoes and accessories.

While in Venice, we will be checking out the Murano glass factory where we will get to watch the glassmasters sculpt the molten glass into the fantastic art they are so well known for. This gift will allow us to bring a piece of that home!

Our whole trip, from Venice to Rome, we will be driving from city to city. For that reason we are renting the most adorable Fiat. That is unless I find a great deal on a Ferrari!

Once we get to Rome, having a car is going to be a pain but we will still need transport - enter scooter rental! This is something Jason has really, really wanted to do and it is pretty awesome as they are allowed in the historical areas that cars are not.

Any help to get to and from our destination is a wonderful gift. We will be thanking you long after take off.
