We will start our evening by discovering the Plaka and Thession/Psirri areas. Then we'll visit Haritos Street near Kolonaki to bar hop and rub shoulders with Athens sophisticated arty set. We won't plan on dining until after 10 pm just like the locals, and then if we have any energy left we'll dance at one of the many hotspots. What a fun evening!

One honeymoon date we can't miss! A day tour of Ancient Rome! An exciting journey through history and its legends, stories and anecdotes. With our guide we will begin at the Colosseum and the Arch of Constantine, then take a leisurely stroll through the Roman Forum and the Imperial Fori to the Capitol Hill, ending up at the Pantheon, Hadrian's temple dedicated to all the pagan gods. What a great day!

Leaving the pier, we will enjoy a brief scenic drive through the small bays and port of Piraeus, entering Athens via Syngrou Avenue. We will have an orientation drive through the city, featuring the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Statue of Lord Byron, Constitution Square, the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior, Olympic Stadium, the Academy and the University Library. We will proceed to the Acropolis to begin our visit of this famous architectural masterpiece. After visiting the Acropolis, our guide will lead us on foot to the Plaka (Old Town) for a guided walking tour of the area. This is Athens' oldest and most picturesque neighborhood where the beauty of the neo-classical colors, architecture and tiny gardens will delight us. Lunch with wine will be served at the Dionysos Restaurant, which faces the Acropolis. While eating, we will think of you as we admire the Parthenon. Following lunch, we will continue to the Benaki Museum, the oldest museum (fully reconstructed in 2000) in Greece, which functions as a foundation under private law. The museum ranks among the great benefactions that have enriched the material assets of the Greek state. Our local guide will direct us through the major exhibits in the museum. At the conclusion of our visit, we will stop for coffee in the Museum's coffee shop/restaurant.

This full day excursion covers the most exciting sites of the region: House of Virgin Mary, Ephesus Open Air Museum, Archeological Museum of Ephesus and Basilica of St. John as well as lunch with Turkish specialties and great shopping opportunity. The guided walking tour will take us through one of the most magnificent excavations in the world.

A great afternoon trip from Athens, this is one of those spots that is as much a favorite with the locals as it is with the tourists. It's a favorite sunset-viewing spot for everyone, and will give us a classically Greek moment against the ruined monument along with a terrific sea view.

Many ancient culinary traditions and characteristics of Italy's distinct regional cuisines and traditional recipes are passed down from generation to generation. We will experience hands on instruction by our own professional Italian chef. It's true what they say, "Italians live to eat while the rest of the world eats to live."

Visiting south of Florence, we will stroll along the city's political heart flanked by the Palazzo Vecchio. Next, we will visit the town hall and the Uffizi Gallery, one of Italy's leading art galleries. We'll visit the church of the Santa Croce home to frescoes by Giotto and tombs of some of Florence's greatest men: Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Galileo and Rossini and no visit would be complete without a tour of the Gallery of the Academy with the original masterpiece David by Michelangelo!

On this honeymoon trip we'll visit the charming hill town of Tivoli, less than an hour from the hustle and bustle of Rome, wander around Villa Adriana, a sprawling estate that includes theatres, baths, temples, fountains, and palaces before heading to Villa d'Este, renowned for its spectacular gardens, elaborate fountains and breathtaking views over the plain towards the Eternal City.

With your wedding gift we will visit and see the natural and artistic beauty of the small medieval villages just outside Rome. Visiting Frascati, famous worldwide for its wine and sample the local product, viewing the scenery, the small villages and the wine there is so delicious! So much to see and enjoy on our honeymoon!

On our honeymoon, we will try our luck with the sharks! From Blackjack to Poker, we will have a good time playing a game of cards!

We will visit the city of Rome on our honeymoon and experience the amazing history it has to offer. Admiring the architecture and soaking up the culture as we explore the city at our own pace, as we hop on and hop off an antique trolley car!

Among these, one can find the Stromboli island, which has a small active volcano—a beautiful sight to behold on a clear night.

Sicily is steeped in ancient history and has several ruins and monuments worth visiting. The Valley of the Temples, which dates back to the Grecian era, can be found in the city of Agrigento. Byzantine-Christian cemeteries from the 4th and 5th centuries are found here too. Visitors to Sicily must also take a look at the Greek amphiteatre in Taormina.

Approximately 8,000 people are buried in the maze of subterranean passages in Palermo. Some of the oldest mummified bodies are as much as 500 years old or more and yet are incredibly well preserved.

… and browse through the local craft stores along the way at leisure. The private tour often allows for many photo opportunities as well the option of a traditional Sicilian meal in a mountain village.

Our tour begins with an independent visit of Taormina. We'll get to explore the village at own pace. We'll then proceed south to Mt. Etna through the scenic roads. On the way to the Winery, a photo stop will be made at the Lava River of the last eruption of 1992. Driving across Santa Venerina, we'll see damages from the earthquake which hit in 2002. Reaching the winery, we'll enjoy views over valley & fields covered with vines. We'll then enjoy a wine tasting & learn about the different qualities of wine. (Of course, we'll probably have to buy a couple of bottles!)

Our tour begins with a 50-minute drive to the traditional Village of Vamos. The history of the village goes back many centuries, According to historical sources, its first inhabitants were Arab pirates around the 8th century. During that time, Greece was under Turkish domination and Vamos was the headquarters of the Turkish army. People of Vamos proved to be very patriotic, fighting to free themselves from the Turkish domination and the winning battle of 1896 set Vamos and its people free. Vamos met a great development when it became the capital of Sfakia Prefecture. Today, we’ll see the distinction between luxurious "conakia" and non-luxurious houses "kamarospita" that highlights the economical level of the society. Our tour will continue to the Karidi Monastery with the Agios Georgios Church, just outside the Village of Vamos. Formerly, Karidi was a Venetian Village that was destroyed by Turks. Later a monk of Ag. Triada Monastery bought the land and Karidi became a subsidiary of Ag. Triada. Today, we’ll visit the ruin of the old mill, with its 12 arches built in 1862, the ruins of the monastery and the small church of Ag. Georgios. Our last stop before returning to the port will be the Braoudakis Winery to sample local wine. The Braoudakis family operation aims at offering a warm Cretan hospitality to all visitors making them accustomed to the Cretan countryside, its history and surrounding nature.

The Acropolis and the Parthenon dominate Athens, and the most sightseeing-weary traveler will catch an enticing glimpse and be scrambling toward it before they know it. Even if there were no Parthenon, the Acropolis is worth the visit just for the magnificent view of Athens and the surrounding temples below. And now the New Acropolis Museum nearby is an attraction worth seeing all by itself.
