No honeymoon would be complete, without a meeting with the Mona Lisa at the medieval fortress palace of the kings of France. The Louvre Palace bears witness to more than 800 years of history and priceless art work.

We can't go to Paris without seeing this masterpiece of gothic architecture, the cathedral Notre Dame de Paris, imagined by Bishop Maurice de Sully built between the 12th and the 14th centuries (1163-1345).

On our trip to Avignon we'll tour the Palace of Popes. The Popes’ Palace, built in the 14th century, is the biggest Gothic palace in all of Europe and is in the heart of Avignon.

We'll take a short trip from Nice to the principality of Monaco. With your gift we'll visit and try our hand at the glamorous Monte Carlo Casino.

Help us find a nice villa in Nice! We can't wait to experience the Mediterranean coastal town and surrounding area.

It's casual, fun and perfect for an afternoon lunch. With so many restaurants in town, we'll choose the most perfect, casual restaurant where we'll take delight in the juiciest burgers, fresh sandwiches, chicken and fries!

The catch of the day awaits us! While staying in Nice we'll visit as many restaurants and fresh fish markets in as we can to experience all the different types of seafood and the variety of fresh fish, and local delicacies all complemented by an incredible selection of wines. A delicious treat!

We can choose from fresh fruits, freshly baked pastries, breakfast meats, scrambled eggs, French toast (their they just call it toast), hash browns, juice, coffee and whatever else the French have to offer. Give us the works we need our energy on our getaway.

To top off a great meal, or just for the heck of it, we'll have to indulge in some of the local pastries and desserts.

We look forward to reserving an intimate candlelit dinner. We'll choose a quiet restaurant with a warm atmosphere, outstanding cuisine and impeccable service.

We would love to shop around for our favorite piece of art as a cherished keepsake from our once in a lifetime trip. This gift will adorn our home for many years to come!

We will visit all the trendy stores on the main street in the heart of the busy city, checking out the classically elegant European clothes in all the boutiques. We'll shop until we drop!

Help us get home from France in luxury and without asking someone for a ride! A town car will be waiting for us at Dulles to end our trip in style.

There is nothing like waking up to the sweet smell of flowers by our bedside. How romantic!

As aspiring oenophiles, or people who just like wine, we'll have a guided tour of a great wine region in Provence enjoying the entertaining and knowledgeable explanation of the winemaking process, followed by a tasting of some of the finest wines!
