On our honeymoon we will experience the spectacular beauty and hidden enchantment of Kauai! We will enter the crater of Mt. Wai'ale'ale with its waterfalls cascading over 2,000 feet, fly over ancient mountain ranges and valleys to the site of Manawaipuni Falls, featured in the film Jurassic Park. Next, we will soar into Waimea Canyon described by Mark Twain as "The Grand Canyon of the Pacific."

This unique activity gives you a chance to travel back in time to the sugar plantation era. Circa 1870 a series of ditches, tunnels, and flumes was hand-dug by Chinese laborers to deliver water from the rainforest to thirsty sugar cane fields near Lihue. This land is privately owned and has never before been accessible to the public. The recent closure of the Lihue plantation has made this tour possible ... allowing Kauai visitors the chance to travel into the island's interior and witness this engineering feat in a fun and relaxing way!

Ben and I would love to celebrate a day by the pool with some Hawaiian drinks.

Ending our day in Hawaii with a sunset cruise along the beautiful coast is the perfect wedding gift! This romantic sail will be wonderful! We will slip off our shoes and kick back Hawaiian-style while sailing into the changing colors of another incredible Hawaiian sunset. We will dance, we will dine and toast with champagne as we look for that legendary "green flash" as the sun sinks below the horizon.

We would love to spend an afternoon checking out the beautiful scenery from the tree tops. This would be one of our favorite activities.
