Everything is going to be amazing...we love, love, love the Mandalay Bay. I knew it was nice but it is absolutely amazing! Carey is the happiest, go luckiest person and I love it! She made Sam and I more excited about our big day!
December 06, 2009 12:47 pm Mailing our Invitations Today is the day that Sam and I put our invitations in the mail. I think I may have looked, read, stuffed, unstuffed and counted the invitations over and over again. We are so excited and can't wait to get the reactions from our family and friends. No one has seen the invitations yet so that makes it more exciting. We even had lil Sam in on helping us mail them as we had him taking pictures of us (see pics). Dallas sat in the car (lol). It feels really real to us now as it is starting to all fall in place!
December 10, 2009 5:03 am Receiving alot of positive feedback It's a great feeling to know that our family and friends feel that our website is a great tool. The invitations went out and we are getting emails, texts and calls about the invitations and website. We are enjoying all the love we have received and we love you guys right back. The whole experience is more than we ever imagined and sometime feels unreal. Can't believe December is almost over and January is the mark of our wedding year, oh my God is going to go fast. Thank you guys so much for supporting and encouraging us.......
January 01, 2010 11:20 am New Years Eve Celebration!!! 12 a.m. Jan.01, 2010 New Years Eve Celebration! This evening is the initial start of our countdown to Sept. 24, 2010 where Monica & I would be pronounced Husband & Wife to about 100 or so of Family and friends. We had an OUTSTANDING time at the home of new acquaintances Rob & Jenelle in Lake Hiawatha! The food, the drinks, the people just the whole atmosphere was great. If you didn't know, you would've thought that we were all life-long friends. I guess that's what made the night special along with the fact that we were celebrating a beautiful dear friend (Aon's) 40th birthday!! I must say, that this is the way ONE should start off the New Year!!
January 08, 2010 7:47 pm Hitting the ground running 8 days into 2010 and Sam and I are on a mission. We joined the gym (if you are on facebook, you are enjoying the crazy stories about our adventures working out together) and we opened our "wedding fund". We have officially went over budget but it is all going to be worth it in the end. RSVP cards are coming in slow and April 15th is the deadline as we are over our guest list also. So, if you don't RSVP by then, you will be watching the wedding online as we will be opening the guest list to the many people that are coming to Vegas just to show their support (although they didn't get invited to the wedding). We are also wrapping up our shower guest list...Sam and I are soooo blessed and sooooo lucky to have such wonderful family and friends....guest list as of today is 215 people for the shower and addresses are still being emailed to us daily. January 10th my bridesmaid are all suppose to be measured and have their dresses ordered. Lisa and Kevin have their jobs cut out for them as I want everything to be perfect. And my mom has been the first person to reserve her room for the wedding....EXCITED is an understatement to how I am feeling. So, just a friendly reminder...if you plan on coming to the wedding...please send in those RSVPs and the cut off is April 15th...no exceptions!

March 09, 2010 3:56 pm 3 months into the new year I always knew the months are shorter the older you get but planning a wedding, I think they are even shorter. Plans are going well, seems like there is always something to do. Right now, we are getting together with our Bridal Party so they completely understand me and Sam's expectations! It is a very important day for us (as all bride and grooms) but being our 2nd time around, it is more important! We learned alot of things from being married before and we both think we have a great understanding of the whole marriage journey! We both are as excited now as we were on our first date! We have about 5 1/2 weeks left before the RSVPs are suppose to be in and it is amazing..yes we over booked cause we didn't think we were going to get such a huge response. 60 guests have confirmed!!! wow!
Don't wait until the last minute...we are very firm with our date of April 15th!!!
March 26, 2010 8:16 pm 20 days to go PLEASE BE ADVISE....THOSE OF THE FIRST INVITED GUESTS...IF YOU HAVEN'T SENT IN YOUR RSVPs, PLEASE BE AWARE YOU HAVE 20 DAYS BEFORE THE APRIL 15TH DEADLINE. If we don't get your RSVP we will assume you won't be coming and we will be inviting other guests in your place.
We made arrangements for the wedding to be broadcast via the internet (website is on the RSVP card that you didn't return - lol) and it will be available 30 days after the wedding.
You will be missed but we understand if you can't make it.

May 24, 2010 8:15 pm 4 Months today Wow, I know NONE of you are probably aware of this but in 4 months at this moment, the wedding will be starting (5:15pm Vegas time)! Sam and I were on the couch thinking about this! The time is going fast and there is still so much to do!!! We can't wait to be husband and wife. June 07, 2010 9:47 am Come out and party!! The bachelorette party has been planned, the arrangements have been made and all that is left now is to get your party dress and shoes and join us at the Club Tao at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. The party will start with everyone meeting us at 10:15 p.m. in front of the Mandalay Bay Hotel on Thursday, September 23, 2010. We will then head down to the Venetian for VIP Entry to Club Tao. June 13, 2010 10:34 am My birdal shower was nothing less than amazing! I really appreciate the hard work from everybody involved and I really felt special. There wasn't a dull moment and I am happy my mom and sisters were there as well as friends from out of state. I am very blessed and lucky to have such a great and loving group of people. My mom and new mom in law were finally able to meet also. Sam was there (by chance thanks to the bar and game in the next room). This has made Sam and I even more excited and Vegas is coming close! Thank you all and there will be formal THANK YOUS in the mail soon!
July 03, 2010 7:25 pm Engagement Pics Today Sam and I had the most amazing photo shoot in Verona Park. The photographer that took the pics at the shower offered to do some engagement pics of us! It was sooo much fun and it is getting us ready for THE PHOTO SHOOT as Mr & Mrs Bearfield. The days are coming fast and we are getting more and more excited!

July 24, 2010 5:18 am Bridal Appreciation Luau Since we won't have a dinner for the bridal party in Vegas, Sam and I decided to give them one here. We appreciate everybody that has helped and been involved in our wedding. We are up early ready for this big party. Connie and Mary are such amazing people. They agreed to allow us to use thier backyard for the Luau. Mary has been such a great help to me planning the Luau. Her friends (NOW MY FRIENDS) agreed to cook and bring dishes to the Luau...I appreicate them....Thank you Gwen/Mike, Shirley/Carl and Rhonda/Kenny. Also the best man cooked (we tricked him)...we thank you also. We hope everybody enjoys the day and can see and feel how Sam and I feel about them. TIME TO PARTY!

September 02, 2010 5:03 am check list is getting shorter! I can't believe what we have been working towards for the last year is just weeks away. Our checklist is getting shorter and our excitment is growing by the day. Sam has started a documentary of the last 24 days and I have grown tired of that camcorder in my face first thing in the mornings! lol Glad I go to work! lol But it's all in fun!
