Matthew and Marsha first met in the fall of 1983 at Forrest Oak Middle School. It was in Ms. Walker’s Orchestra class where Matthew was first chair violin and Marsha was first chair viola where their relationship began. It was not love at first sight. Matthew was in love with Ms. Walker and Marsha thought he was a total nerd. The two would continue to see each other daily throughout middle school and then high school without even a spark. Matthew graduated from OD Wyatt School in 1988 and went on to the military. Marsha graduated from OD Wyatt in 1989 and went on to college. Through GOD’s intervention, Matthew and Marsha’s paths crossed again in the winter of 2003. This time, there was an EXPLOSION! They have been together ever since.

Marsha Lea Polk and Matthew Craig Thompson will be married for time and all eternity on Saturday September 1, 2007, along side the brides sister, Daphne Polk and Vista Foster.
