Blake and I met three years ago at Café Intermezzo in Atlanta, through Blake’s best friend, Joe, and one of my best friend's, Melissa, who were dating at the time. Melissa told me, after Blake and I started dating, that she knew that I would hit it off with Blake. I’m sure she had no idea that we would end up getting married! Blake proposed to me on the riverfront in Knoxville, Tennessee, the day after Thanksgiving. It was very romantic!
During our Engaged Encounter weekend, we were asked to name an endearing quality for each other. I said that Blake is a great listener, and Blake said that my endearing quality is that I love college football! This is a perfect example of our relationship...I'm the serious one, and he's the one that is always making jokes. It's worked out well!

Blake and I are getting married at 6:30 pm on Friday, June 1st at Faith Chapel in Jekyll Island, GA. Attire is semi-formal. We fell in love with the beautiful historic district of Jekyll Island when we visited there last August. We hope you will love it as much as we do.

Our reception will be held immediately after the ceremony on the Riverfront lawn of the Jekyll Island Club Hotel. In the case of inclement weather, the reception will be held in the Club Ballroom at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel. We will be serving a buffet of delicious cuisine with a lot of variety. We will also be serving a children's buffet, so the kids will have something they can enjoy.

Blake and I would like to thank all of those that have supported and helped us through the last few years. We are looking forward to celebrating the love we share with those closest to us. We greatly appreciate your time and effort spent in making our wedding day special.
