I was talked into trying out a computer dating service. That's where I met James. Our first date was April 15th 2 weeks after several e-mails back and forth. We went to dinner and to play pool. It was the best date I had ever been on. I had so much fun. We spent over an hour at dinner talking about anything and everything. The next day he called me and wanted to get on my calendar before it was full. When we weren't hanging out together we were on the phone for hours. The longer we were together, the more I knew he was everything I wanted.
Just over a year later he asked me to marry him. And of course I said yes. So here we are.
I didn't really want a wedding, more of a party. But James always wanted to do things the right way. He wanted to get married with our family and friends present and a Pastor to perform the ceremony so we could say our vows before God and family and friends. I started to get more and more excited about the wedding once I started trying on wedding dresses. And decided to ask my mom to make my dress.
We have decided to also do something special for J during the ceremony. He doesn't know yet, but it's not just a day for James and I. It will be a day that the three of us become a family. We hope that all of you can make it.
Our reception will be full of laughs and cake and punch. So come ready to eat cake and share in our special moment. It will be following the wedding at the gardens. Should the weather be rainy and cold we will be letting you know where we move it to.

We are going to take our honeymoon in Janaury. So while it will be cold everywhere, we will be enjoying the sun and beautiful waters of the Western Caribean. But don't worry, we will be thinking of you all as it snows, ices and windy and we are enjoying the beautiful sun and water!
