Dave writes: I was 16 and Kelly was 14 when we first started dating. After about a year, she dumped me. Fortunately, she could not resist my charm when I was chosen as the 1999 Homecoming King, and we got back together. Then she dumped me again. After that, it took about 6 years for our paths to cross again, and we were friends for a few months before we began dating again in August of 2005. (I don't think she's going to dump me this time.) I proposed to her in the early hours of St. Patrick's Day this year, and the adventure has continued. It both humbles and awes me that the peaks and valleys I have experienced have lead me back to this incredible woman, and I am blessed to even know her, let alone marry her. God's grace is a good thing. A good thing indeed...

We are getting married on August 18, 2007, at Salem Lutheran Church in Lake Mills, IA.

Our reception will be at Music Man Square in Mason City. There will be fun and fellowship and singing and dancing. Good stuff. The word on the street is that one of my groomsmen, the taller fella, might bust out a move the ladies simply call, "The Booty Shake."

Kelly and I cannot wait to see all of you, and we look forward to sharing our day with you!
