Andrea and Ryan met in the summer of 1996 when Andrea and her family moved from Mt.Vernon to Steeleville. She was the "new girl" in town and needed some people to take her under their wing and show her around. One of Ryan's best friends, Jonathan Knop was the first to step up to the plate. He intoduced Andrea and Ryan.

Ryan and Andrea continued to stay close friends and even went to homecoming their junior year. After highschool they went their seperate ways, but stayed in touch by phone. They grew from their experiences and in the summer of 2004 they met again at a mutual friend's home during a birthday party. They sat and talked all night catching up on old times and from there it was all over.

After celebrating their 3rd Christmas together, Ryan and Andrea became engaged over the 2006 holiday season with Ryan buying a runt rat terrier puppy, "Dixie Lynn," engraving "Will You Marry Me?" on the name tag, blind folding Andrea and giveing her the puppy for Christmas. A puppy was everything Andrea had ever wanted. The ecstatic expression on her face was unexplainable when she saw the puppy. When she noticed the name tag and Ryan on one knee with a ring in his hand, Ryan thought she was going to faint. Receiving two of her most desired gifts at the same time, she was speechless. After tears of happiness were wiped from her face she finally said "YES" and they were offically engaged.



The wedding will be held at St.Joseph's Church in Willisville, Illinois at 2:00 p.m.

A reception will follow with dinner, drinks, and dance at the Steeleville Legion Hall in Steeleville, Illinois.

Once married Ryan and Andrea are going to spend Thanksgiving weekend at Couples Resort in Negril, Jamaica for their honeymoon...and live happily ever after!
