Believe it or not! We met online. It really does work. We chatted for a while via email then on the phone, and finally, we met in person on September 15, 2004. We met at Coho restaurant in Issaquah for drinks and appetizers. We both figured the date would last a couple of hours. Appetizers turned into dinner, and we ended up closing down the restaurant. We were the last customers to leave! The date felt like ten minutes instead of four hours.

And that was only the beginning. Just ask us about our second date which lasted for 12 hours!!

We decided to have our ceremony at a beautiful Bed ~n~ Breakfast in Arlington, Washington. I immediately fell in love with their double-sided, river rock fireplace in the center of the room. Perfect for a winter wedding. Pure rustic elegance!

WE'RE GOIN' TO NEPAL!!!!!! We will be flying out of Seatac airport on March 6th down to LAX where we will catch a Thai airways flight from LA to Bangkok and then on to Kathmandu Nepal. The next day we will fly in a small plane for Approx. 40 minutes to the small village of Lukla where we will meet with Steven's Sherpa and porter friends. We will spend about 11 days on the trail heading towards Mount Everest until we come to the village of Pheriche. Here we will rest and then head back to Lukla which will take about four days. We'll catch another flight back to Kathmandu where we will spend two days before heading home. We will have a 24 hour stay in Thailand and arrive back in Seattle on the 23rd of March.
