Kevin and Katy met while celebrating the wedding of another lovely couple--Garrett and Abby Wilson. It was a wonderful wedding, a wonderful weekend, and things just kept getting better! They continued to date while Katy finished college, and after graduation she moved to Washington to join Kevin. They grew even closer during that time, and it wasn't too long before they knew this was it! Kevin popped the question, the answer was "YES!," and now all that's left is the I do's.
Together with their family and friends, Kevin and Katy invite you to experience a bit of magic! Their beach wedding is set to take place June 21st, 2008 at sunset in Negril, Jamaica along Seven Mile Beach. A casual reception will follow at the Couples Swept Away Resort.
As exciting as this all is, June is only months away, so don't delay! The hopes are that everyone will be able to stay together at the Couples Swept Away Resort in Negril, but as there are many other honeymooners and wedding goers this time of the year, it's best to be expeditious in making your travel arrangements. Of course not everyone will be able to make it to Jamaica, but 'no worries mon!' The couple plans to keep the celebration rolling with another reception to be held in Texas the following month. The celebration will take place July 19, 2008 at seven o'clock at the Hotel Alsace, Castroville, Texas. Katy and Kevin are really excited about both Jamaica and their Texas reception, and hope to see you at one, or both!
All travel arrangements should be made through the couple's travel agent, Gloria, at Custom Travels. You can reach her at 830.303.3003. It's important that you book any and everything through her so that you are included in the guest list, and will be counted in on all the planned activities. Aware that people will be traveling from different places, she will work with you on scheduling flights and making accommodations. Guests are invited to come down Friday, June 20th, and stay until Monday June 23rd. However, the more the merrier, so come early and stay late if so desired. The couple and their families will be heading to Jamaica Wednesday, June 18th and staying until the following Wednesday. You are welcome to join them at any time!
We hope that all of you who have watched us grow as individuals and shared in our lives, will be there to celebrate the start of our new life together. We feel so blessed, and are thankful to have such truly wonderful friends and family. What a wonderful God we have!
