Rick and I first met in 2004 when we began working together. We didn't begin dating until almost six months after we first met after we had been talking on the phone regularly getting to know each other. During our first date Rick cracked his tooth on a piece of ice while we were eating lunch but put up with the pain so we could go to the horse races in the afternoon like we had planned. Neither of us were willing to place any money on betting but had quite a good time betting each other as to what horse would win. I don't think we ever picked a winner!
Eight months after our first date we moved in together and two years and three moves later we're finally in our own home and engaged! We've been through some ups and downs but are absolutely ready to start the next chapter in our lives together as a married couple!

We decided to get married in Laughlin, Nevada on the U.S.S. Riverside in an hour and a half boat cruise ceremony. When I first moved to Arizona and visited Laughlin I remember seeing someone get married on a boat cruise and thinking how fun that would be. Our day is finally approaching and I can't think of a better way to get married than floating down the river with our family and friends. We're only hoping I don't fall on the way down the aisle!

We will follow our boat cruise with a reception in the Mirror Room at the Riverside Casino. We are looking forward to lots of dancing, good food and fun with our guests. After the reception's over there will be plenty of time left in the evening to do some gambling, dancing in the clubs or whatever else interests you!

We can't wait for the wedding day and look forward to sharing it with all of you!
