Kyle and I have known each other for quite a few years because of my brother and their best friend. I was never attracted to Kyle at the time because he was very cocky but I soon realized that was only a front he put up but deep down he’s a loving teddy bear. As my 18th Birthday approached Kyle and my brother was planning to throw me a big party. I started to see how sweet and caring he can be. He asked me more than once to become his girlfriend and I decided to play hard to catch so I simply kept saying no. On April 15th 2012 we all were at the bar dancing Kyle and I went to dance to God Gave Me You by Blake Shelton and he proceeded to ask me out again, at the end of the song I said yes! He had the biggest smile I have ever seen and it feels just like yesterday!
On August 30th 2014 Kyle had come home from working in Texas for a few days and wanted to take the side by side out, which I was totally down to do because it something we can do together that we both love. His family went with us just like many times that summer so nothing felt out of the norm. As we were on a trail we somehow lost his family behind us Kyle pulled over and said he had to pee, he gets back in the side by side and goes we probably should go look for them. As we head back up the trail I notice a bouquet of flowers by the edge of the trail, my first instinct holy crab did someone die? Kyle goes I don’t know lets go check it out! As we walk over to the flowers he says you know I love you very much and holds me tight then gets down on his knee and asks me to marry him! I couldn’t hardly breathe I tried more than once to say Yes but not much came out all I could was cry with joy! |
