Way back in 1998 as two anxious freshman on the campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, Joe and I met shortly after school had started, and we were inseparable for the better portion of our first years in school. We met at a party in one of Joe's friend's rooms from football.
Joe and I spent every waking second together, we signed up for as many classes together as we could, he came to watch me play volleyball, and I supported my #1 player at his football games. One of the most romantic settings on campus - the Mansion - was the location of our first kiss, and the very same place where Joe brought me to propose.
One very prominent feeling has always been evident with Joe and I - we share the same outlook on things. We have the same views on the important things in life, and we never stop laughing together, especially when laughing seems like the farthest thing to be doing given whatever the circumstances.

Joe and I will be married at St. Mary's Church in Wharton on October 4, 2008!!! When we moved into the condo and sought out our own parish to join, St. Mary's was the perfect match. Joe recently completed the RCIA program with me as his sponsor. He was officially confirmed in the Catholic church at the Easter Vigil mass. This was a commitment that Joe initiated on his own, knowing how important faith is in our lives and in our devotion to each other. Also, Joe and I completed the Pre-Cana program at St. Mary's. It was a great program that Joe and I both really enjoyed. So on all counts, we are ready to go for the Ceremony, we are just counting down the days!
Following the Ceremony, our reception will be held at the Wyndham Hotel in Mt. Olive. We encourage everyone to book a room as the festivities will be ongoing. Joe and I instantly knew that the Wyndham is the perfect location for our event - Ours will be the only wedding held that day, the setting is romantic and the bar will be open well after the official reception ends.

Joe and I plan to go to HAWAII for our fabulous honeymoon!
The trip if officially booked and WE CAN'T WAIT!!!
Flying non-stop from Newark we will arrive in Honolulu where we will then spend 2 nights. The only definite on our agenda will be to visit Pearl Harbor (as per Joe's history-loving request). From there we have an inter-island transfer to Maui where we will stay for 4 nights in a deluxe oceanview suite. Catering to honeymooning couples each resort is treating us to ample champagne/sparkling wine/ and the royal treatment! As if the trip could get any better we finish off in Kauai, the most romantic of the islands from what we understand, where we will stay 4 more fabulous nights :)
Neither one of us has ever been there. We look forward to basking in the sun w/ umbrella'ed drinks and nothing on the agenda but celebrating our marriage and our many blessings (and visiting Pearl Harbor Joe I promise)!!
