Kurt was born and raised in the suburbs of Cincinnati, Ohio. He is the son of Dale and Sandy Hall and is the older of two children. He attended Purdue University and graduated in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. In 1996 Kurt moved to Indianapolis, Indiana for work and has lived there since, although he has contracted in other cities for work. Kurt has never been married.
Jenny was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. She is the daughter of Daphne and Jerry Shook and is the oldest of seven children. She moved to southern Indiana right after high school. She has been working in the IT field since 1998 and has worked for multiple IT consulting firms in Louisville, Kentucky and Indianapolis, Indiana. Jenny has been married once.
Jenny and Kurt met in early 2002 while they were both contracting for Yum! Brands in Louisville, Kentucky. Jenny lived in Louisville, Kentucky and Kurt lived in Indianapolis, Indiana. On the day they met, Jenny was called to work on a printer that Kurt and his co-worker were having trouble with. Jenny and Kurt hit it off right away and became friends. They started dating in May of 2002 and in September of 2003 Jenny moved to Indianapolis, Indiana to pursue a better job and their relationship. On January, 17th 2008 Kurt proposed to Jenny at what was suppose to be the sunset celebration in Key West, Florida. (The actual celebration was canceled due to ESPN building out their set to film fight night, which was taking place the next night.) It was still a beautiful sunset. With just a little light left Kurt got down on one knee and proposed! Jenny was surprised but happy. They are excited to start their new life together!
The wedding will be at Couples Negril in Negril, Jamaica on the beach at 4pm in the afternoon of November 10th, 2008.
We will be holding wedding celebrations in Indiana and Ohio in the spring of 2009. More details to come.
The wedding is taking place at Couples Negril, in Negril, Jamaica. The closest airport is Montego Bay or MBJ. The hotel is about 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes from the Airport.
