Kavita Dugdale & Josh Palmore
Location: Empress Palace - Woodland, WA
Josh and I met through a few mutual friends at a birthday party in May of 2001, not seeing each other again until September 7th at a Ridgefield Football game. We hit it off great, talking all evening and attending the "after game dance" where we took the opportunity to get to know each other better. After an exchange of "I like you, I like you too's" on our way to the parking lot, we hugged each other goodbye and planned to talk the next day.

We talked every day until the following week when we attended another Ridgefield game. At this particular game, a friend asked "are you two going out now or what?", that was Megan...one of our gorgeous bridesmaids. I looked away, shy and uncertain where we stood. Josh took one look at me and he answered with a confident yes. We were inseparable from that point forward and enjoyed each other's company no matter what were doing...picnicing, hiking, seeing movies, going on walks, driving, or just doing chores.

Since than, we have grown closer than ever, still moving forward in our love for one another and also in our education and career paths.

Josh went from graduating at Columbia River high school in 2002 to finishing his Associates in Business at Clark College. He is now attending WSU-Vancouver, where he will finish next Spring with his Bachelors in Business Administration, minoring in professional sales.

I graduated from Ridgefield high school in 2004. I moved to Longview to attend Lower Columbia College and pursue a degree in Nursing. It has been a long journey, but I am proud to say that I will be finished with my RN and transfer associates next Spring as well. After that point, I plan to get a full-time job as an RN, but continue on with my education.

Josh and I decided to make the move to Woodland, WA last May after 2 years of living 40 minutes away from each other. We've been very happy there and plan to stay in our same appartment until we both graduate. Currently, our maid of honor and one of the groomsmen live next door and we have settled in really well. In the future, we may have to move wherever our jobs take us, but never plan to leave Washington.

We look forward to living our lives together as husband and wife. After almost 7-years of being together, we are now taking this amazing new step and are thankful that we have all of our family and friends to support and celebrate us. It's been an amazing experience, can't wait to see where our lives will take us next.

We hope that you will be able to join us on our special day!

There will be a buffet style luncheon and reception immediately following the ceremony.

Reception will have all the traditional elements with songs we've picked out ourselves, played by the house DJ.

Feel free to dance!

No alcoholic beverages will be served at the reception. Toasts will be made with sparkling cider.
We have looked forward to this day for several years now and knew that we would be sharing it with all our family and friends. What we didn't realize, was how much love and support we would be graced with and we are forever grateful for all of you. You make our lives full of love, happy, and meaningful. Thank you!
