So the story.....welll for all who dont know...iv known this was going to happen four years ago and on the four year anniversary of the day we met roger asked me to stick around forever!!! (but he didnt put it that simply)

17 is our number for many reasons..we were both 17 when we met, my birthday is november 17th his is july 17th, we met on december 17th and became "official" on january 17th...every month that first year on the 17th something significant happened and so therefore 17 is our number

Roger's family moved down to austin this summer which has been a pretty drastic change for us with my family being in north texas, i wasnt going to get to see him for christmas for the first time so after finals we headed to austin for a week. He had been promising me we would go look at christmas lights and so we decided to go to San Antonio to look at the lights on the riverwalk. We went to the Alamo and walked around..the river was so pretty and the weather was perfect. We rode on a boat down the river and enjoyed laughing at the drunk girl that was sitting by us. We then went to dinner at Cafe Ole, it was so good and romantic..we sat on the river and our waiter brought us blankets IT Was Perfect...we then went walking around some more and went over to the Tower of America's tower and walked around Hemisfair park..which was about 15 waterfalls and fountains. There was no one else around and we were walking up to the park and roger asked me if i wanted to go look at rings sometime..which completely caught me off guard because he had told me he wanted everything to be a surprise and for me not to know anything. This took me by surprise and i kinda got bummed..any hope for it happening tonight was gone..

About fifteen minutes later i was leaning over the ledge looking at a waterfall and roger said my name and i turned around and didnt see him til i looked down...and he was on his knee holding my ring.........he was so sweet and i was so shocked...and it was the 17th

I have to admit i had a few suspicions..and on our way down to San Antonio we stopped for gas..and sneaky me reached inthe back seat to feel around in rogers jacket pocket..he saw me and yanked out his debit card and got back inthe car and said it wasnt working so we had to go somewhere else...i didnt think he saw me but apparently he did

This Christmas was so lonely without my fiance, but it will be the last...we are looking at August 17th 2008...how ironic

The wedding is in the Sherman Municipal Ballroom. We are going for a sleek elegant look. Our colors are black white and tiffany blue. There will be a short reception with snacks and cake and a little bit of dancing. The reception will be in the same place as the wedding and we will try to start it as soon as possible after the wedding.

For all you out of towners, I think the best hotel might be the La Quinta in Sherman..there is not much to choose from but i know that is nice and affordable.

We are so excited to have friends and family like ya'll to support us and help us merge into our new exciting life together. We look forward to seeing everyone very soon!
