Long story short....... We met online. Rene was searching for people on Myspace to add to his band, Evil Adam's, "friend list". He stumbled upon a picture of my eyeliner with just my name above it and clicked on it right away because his last name is my first. We exchanged several emails for about 2 months before I finally mustered up the courage to meet him in person. (Hey, you never know what kinda freak you'll meet online and I was scared!) But we finally met, laughed, hugged. We remained just friends for a long time before we both finally professed our love for one another. We laughed, danced, partied and karaoke-d our way into each other's hearts. Since we hung out at Bahama Mama's in Hoboken every Thursday night for about a year, that's where we got engaged. Rene sang Billy Joel's "Longest Time" and proposed in a room full of at least 100 people. Of course I said "Yes!" and the rest is history. On October 25th I will be the second Mrs. Rosa Rosa in his family. (His mom and my mom are also named Rosa.) = )

Saturday, October 25th, 2008 is the big day!

We promise the ceremony will be beautiful and fun, not boring! Afterwards you guys get to drink and snack for a bit while we go take our first few fancy pics as husband and wife. Then we can all fill our bellies with yummy food and dance the night away.

Reception will be 5-11pm. We have A LOT planned during this time that we don't want to give away just yet so be sure not to miss it!
