Jenny and I met in Cartagena Colombia in April, 2006. We met on my last day in Cartagena and spent about 7 hours together that day going to a movie, having ice cream and using my pocket translator to help in the conversation. After that we corrresponded for a couple months via phone and internet until June when I returned to Cartagena so we could spend more time together. Over the course of the next six months to a year I returned to Cartagena so we could spend more time together and even stayed with her and her family for 3 weeks over the holidays for Christmas in '06 and New Years. After that we started making plans for her to come to the United States and have now decided to get married and begin a family.
