Wow…. an engagement at the happiest place on earth; now to tie the knot on the prettiest island with the sweetest family and friends. In just a very short time we’ll be surfing, playing laughing, sharing the best time of our life’s and exchanging our “I do’s”!
Now... we all know that the theme of the festivities is relaxed fun, with not too many agendas! However, just a few details that might help along the way!
A couple save the dates:
A Catamaran Sunset cruise on July 26th at 5:00 pm. We can all meet at our hotel (Moana Surfrider Hotel, 2365 Kalakaua Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96815 Phone: (808) 922-3111) around 4:30 and walk to the boat or meet there (Outrigger Catamaran desk located on the beach side of the Outrigger Reef on the Beach Hotel).
Following the cruise we’ll be having dinner at the Hula Grill which is at 2335 Kalakaua Ave # 116 Honolulu, HI 96815 (808) 923-4852. This will be in walking distance from the boat.
Then, if one is still feeling frisky, perhaps a Mia Tai at Dukes downstairs!
The whole evening’s dress is Hawaiian casual~ well…come to think of it, the whole trip falls in that category~
July 27th: THE BIG DAY!!!
Please join for some fun in the sun, surfing, eating and resting before the big festivities later on at the Perell's home in Lanikai. The ceremony will be on the beach at 6:30 so, throw those heels away and be prepared to feel the sand between your toes.
Luau~ Fabulous Calypso/Reggae music~ Dancing~ Eating great local cuisine~The dress is evening Hawaiian casualish (flowy dresses for the ladies and silk, linen Tommy Bahama’esque garb for the gentleman).
Now… here comes the tricky part! If everyone could send us there hotel address, we’ll have the car pick you up on the 27th around 5:00pm. It is a 40 minute drive to Lanikai. FUN!!
For the dates prior, we hope everyone gets to enjoy everything Hawaii has to offer and PLAY PLAY PLAY!!

This day is the biggest & best for the two of us! We have chosen a quintessential place to share our commitment and love to each other. A year ago Mike gave me a red straw promise ring on a trip in Oahu.
During this trip we had fallen more in love and realized that we couldn’t be without each other. So, we found it only fitting to go back to the same place to share our I do’s.
We wish we could magically transport all our friends and family to Hawaii for this special day but in the adventure of planning you gave us something even better. All the celebrations in San Diego, North Carolina and Las Vegas allowed more memories and extended the fun. It took our initial weekend celebration into a month long bash.
Now… as for the down/cross country goers; we realize this is no easy task! We feel exceptionally blessed that you have taken such a love in this relationship to make this trip. We thank you for allowing us to create such special memories. Having you there will allow us to capture photos of all the excitement and hear video of all the crazy stories. That’s a priceless gift! We simply can’t thank you enough but also can’t wait to share in all the festivities!
