ABOUT DAWN:

I am 34 years old. I am the proud owner of Small Wonders Childcare. I was born in Pittsburgh, PA, but raised in the Atlanta area since I was 4 years old. I am mommy to my adorable daughter Harmony who is 3.

ABOUT TODD:

I am 40 years old. I work @ Delta Airline as an International Cargo Coordinator. I was born in New York, but relocated to Atlanta when I was 8 years old. I have a sweet and energetic 16 year daughter named Brittany.

HOW WE MET:

Todd and I met at " Walmart"....that is the joke we share when initially telling people how we really met. We actually met on-line. After talking on-line for awhile, we exchanged numbers and began having these laughter filled 2-3 hour conversations. We were able to discover we had so many things in common from our love of music, our favorite movies, our love of board and card games, and traveling.

WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED:

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Todd hid my engagement ring inside of a box created of chocolate that was a part of my delicious birthday cake. He initially told me his was unable to get me a birthday cake due to time constraints. He actually worked with the baker directly, a month prior to create the perfect cake to surprise me with. He presented the cake still inside the cake box and had me open it to view the cake, he then had me open the chocolate box that contained a ring box, once I saw that box, I just started laughing. He asked me to open the box, and in it sat the most perfect ring, he then asked me to spend the rest of my life with him, I just started crying and kissed and hugged him, until one of my party guest advised me I didn't give him an answer. I looked him in his eyes and said yes, and continued showering him with more kisses.

ABOUT THE BIG DAY:

Our wedding will be simple yet elegant. We are planning every aspect of OUR day together. We are incorporating family and close friends to make up our wedding party. It will be a day of smiles, laughter and happiness.

We will be getting married in Ocho Rios, Jamaica at the Riu Resort. The wedding will take place on the beach at 2pm.
