Jason and I have been together for almost 22 months now. In case you haven’t heard our story, we met though Myspace.com. It's crazy I know! One day in July of 06 I noticed this guy who has the same birthday as myself, to the year. So I ask him to be my “friend”. We began to chat back and forth over email and we found out we had so much in common. One day in July I had to tell him I wouldn’t be online for a while because my family and I had do go to Missouri due to a death in the family. And come to find out his grandparents use to live in a little town close to where my family lives. This seemed to be too crazy! The lack of internet during my trip lead us to texting and eventually talking on the phone. It seemed like every time we talked it was unbelievable how much we had in common so finally we found time to have our first date in August of 06. It was fantastic, I remember calling Daddy after dinner and telling him he was wonderful and we were off to a game hall at the mall for a while. I am sure Daddy was waiting by the phone shaking his head in disbelief that his little girl is out with someone who she met on the internet. Since then, we have had the best time of our lives. I didn’t know there was anyone else out there that would have the same values and morals as myself plus who I can enjoy spending every minute with no matter what we are or aren’t doing. How We Got Engaged:
Jason and I did our Christmas with each other the morning of Christmas Eve. We had planned to make breakfast at home but due to my refrigerator going out the day before we went out to breakfast. When we got back to my house we opened our gifts. For some odd reason he had to open all his gifts first this year. I thought whatever makes you like Christmas more is fine by me. Then, it came time for my gift. I unwrapped the box to find another gift to unwrap. I think this happened about 4 or 6 times until I came to a small jewelry box. I thought earing to match my necklace that he bought me for our one year anniversary, but when I opened the box I found a RING and Jason asked "will you marry me?" I said YES!!!!!
