We met through my best friend (Jill) and his best friend (Paul) 5 years ago, and even though mutual attraction was there, we were not at a place in our life when we could pursue a relationship. In June 2006 we met again at Jill and Paul's wedding and the time was right for us to make a move.

After 6 months of a long distance relationship, we took the plunge. I relocated to South Carolina and we moved in together in December 2006. It is amazing how much you can prepare for living together when your have a long distance relationship first and can talk about all the potential issues. Our time together has been absolutely amazing. We really compliment each other well. We love and laugh and once in a while cry and comfort each other. Our relationship is built on respect for one another and trust in one another and a love that grows with each and every day.

We make each other happy and do not take one another for granted. We are perfect together. And it helps alot that he cooks and cleans and does laundry too!

This is a second wedding for each of us and so we really want to keep it simple and sweet and have chosen to get married at the BP Recreation area on Daniel Island.

It will be a short ceremony with just Chris and I and our 3 boys.

Our reception will be at the BP Recreation area as well.

It will be very casual (shorts, t-shirts, and flip-flops encouraged, but you can wear whatever attire makes you most comfortable). We will have a great BBQ, with dancing and drinks!

We certainly welcome all friends and family to come and share this special time with us and if you aren't able to, we will completely understand and still love you all!

If you would like to join us in celebrating our marriage, I have booked a block of rooms at the Quality Suites hotel, 5225 N. Arco Drive, North Charleston, SC.

This is a nice hotel that offers all suites so there is a mini-fridge and microwave in each room. They also have free full breakfast in the mornings and a managers reception (free beer and wine) in the evenings.

If you would like to reserve a room you must call before July 9th and tell them you are with the Boucher/Whitfield Wedding to get the negotiated rate. Call early to get the best chance of the room type you want (smoking/non-smoking, king/two doubles). Reservation information is:
