After having met over 8 years ago, James "Jamie" and I have finally decided to tie the knot. Not too many of you know how we met, so here's our story...
YES! We met online. Who would have thought this would be the best thing going. I was told I would never meet anyone at "The Ranch". The dating site was set up for me without my knowledge by a family member. I was soon asked to provide a picture for the site and refused. Long story short, I eventually agreed and provided a photo. I soon received emails from singles all over the country, but I was not looking to travel to California. Jamie was moving to the area from his birthplace in Pensacola Beach, FL and had contacted me through the site initially looking for a friend in the area. Once I met Jamie...I was hooked. He was everything and more. We had so many things in common. We had our first date at Sam's Beach Bar in Hudson on the water. We had a sunset dinner and then saw a movie. We talked for hours and got to know one another. Then he invited Colton and I over to meet his kids the following day. We spent the entire day together and it just felt right...like we belonged together. We have been inseparable ever since.

We decided to get married and have our reception at Heaven on Earth Ranch where I grew up and spent most of my life. It is the perfect setting for the service, and feels like home! We welcome all of you to attend in this joyous celebration. We would be honored to have you there to witness the start of our new life as husband and wife. The wedding will be in Hawaiian theme with a Luau reception immediately following the service. The attire for guests is "Hang Loose" Island casual.

No ordinary reception...Luau is the best way to celebrate. With a name like Kalani, who wouldn't agree. We are in the process of hiring a group of Polynesian and fire dancers and we are hoping their schedule allows for them to entertain at our event. We'll haul in some sand for the service and have a pool side reception. We want our guests to be comfortable. Leave your business attire at home, and celebrate in true island fashion. When we say, "Hang Loose" attire, we want your casual shorts or capri pants and hawaiian shirts, sandals and flip flops and bare feet are welcome.

We have decided to take a 7 day cruise to Key West, Costa Maya and Belize. As much as we would have loved to have cruised the Hawaiian islands, the availability and timing was off for our scheduled wedding date. So we will do that another time in the near future. We do plan on flying off after the cruise for a land stay in the mountains of Tennessee to enjoy the fall weather, making it home in time for the Thanksgiving festivities with family and to celebrate the holiday.

We can't wait to share this day with all of you, our most loved friends and family. Some of you have been asking about this day for 3 years since he proposed...well, it is finally here! So be sure to save the date!
November 8th, 2008.
Hugs and Kisses!
