Abby and Josh met through a mutual friend, Josh's co-worker and Abby's former roommate to be exact. They met in a bar, but don't hold that against them. It also happened to be a week before Josh's birthday in 2008. Ever since then they have been inseparable.



They discussed marriage and Abby was expecting an engagement ring from Josh, but she didn't know when. Josh didn't tell anyone his plans, but really he had a four part engagement plan:



Part #1 - Trip to New Orleans to Visit Josh's Cousin
Part #2 - Hotel Room in New Orleans Downtown Overlooking the Mississippi River
Part #3 - Josh's Engagement Poem To Abby
Part #4 - Abby Makes a Wish Every Time the Clock has the Same Numbers on It (example: 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, 4:44, etc.)




Josh added that all together and at 4:44 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, he pointed at the clock in their hotel room. Abby made a wish. Then, Josh gave Abby her poem. She read it and Josh dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him. Abby was totally surprised, and of course she said YES!



Abby and Josh love to go to the Arkansas Razorback football and basketball games. They watch a little too much TV on Monday and Thursday nights and a little less on the other days of the week as well. They like to travel on the weekends to near and far places. And when they are not doing all of that, they like to watch movies from their Netflix and Blockbuster rental accounts, along with their MASSIVE DVD collection!
